So, are there enough poster/lurkers living in the East Bay to have a WCF watch party?

Just half a dozen or so?

I'm willing to host it at my home (new TV, about 6 chairs, large cushion, yoga mat, near BART & freeway) any night but Game 1. I don't have energy to shop & cook today and would not dream of having party without great food.

Options are: Game 3 when teams head for Portland and/or deciding game 6 or 7.

We could also if everyone is of legal age meet in a local watering hole for Game 1 and bug all the Warriors fans there. Then have a house party at a future game (or not if people don't like the idea).

So this is just to survey if there is interest. If so we can make specific plans.

Man, a WCF game plus your cooking? Don't know if I'd survive the game. Good thing it's a ten hour drive.

Is it just me, or are there others who just can't watch Blazer games with people? I yell derogatory shit, do my random ass superstitions and give 0 fucks about my surroundings during games. I fully acknowledge how horrible of a companion I am to watch our games with. And there is absolutely no way I'd watch this game at a bar without full focus.

Sorry, not adding anything to the thread.

Wish I could be there but I'm here in Lake Oswego stuck with six tickets in the lower 100 level of secions 112 and 102.
However, I've still got my shit eating grin going on and nothing can wipe this grin off my face.

It was a ten hour drive when I used to drive like a mad man. How on Earth can you make it in ten hours? Do you drive 80+? Perhaps you live in Salem or Eugene.

I'm a party poop when the Blazers are losing. Also, I eat a lot of crappy snacks when I get nervous which is pretty much the whole game. And I get food stains on my shirt and don't even have the decency to give a crap.

Great Idea! Mind if I steal and create a Seattle Watch Party thread?
Shit, even that's a three and half hour drive for me. Was just up that way Friday when I went to Ft. Lewis to stock up on booze. Yeah, I'm now stocked.

I live in Oregon City. Google Maps says 9 hours and 40 minutes to Oakland. I rounded up because I have to pee more frequently these days.

I'm kind of the same way. I would prefer watching a game by myself in a padded room tbh. However, when we win big games, this kind of shit happens which is unbelievable.

(4OT game)

I actually have no problem just ignoring other people during the game and watching and concentrating.

Looks sick, but just not for me. My lucky spots on the couch/bed and the rituals take precedence :)

600 miles means an average of 60 mph including rest and pee stops as well as negotiating city traffic. Freeway speed is going to have to be in excess of 70 mph. Snacks will have to be substituted for meals and will have to be eaten while driving.
Pea in a bottle. Make it a lemonade bottle. Put the cap back on and leave it at a rest stop for someone to have as a friendly joke. They'll just laugh and laugh.

I really wish I could go to this. Sounds like a great time.

There's a blazer fan group in the bay area. They watch the games in the city though at some place called nickies.
