My bad. I misinterpreted your post.
No, I definitely see where I implied Dame was about the stats; that was uncharitable and unintentional.

I disagree, I think we will see a lot of high post action and PnRs.Dames going to have to dominate the ball. He's going to have to take 20+ shots per game. This half court offense is going to be nasty and not in a good way. I agree much like Leonard catch and shoot or immediately move the ball. I think CJs going to have to start he's by far our 2nd best offensive player. I think Henderson should come off the bench. I could see Dame scoring 25ppg CJ 18ppg Henderson 14ppg and everybody else around 8 lol

Yup PnR with Plums if it isn't there pop it to Nards for 3.Yep. With players that actually roll to the hoop, the double on Lillard loses its effectiveness.

Dame may drop 28/10/5 next season lol
Well, considering there is no Batum and if LA is gone... Lillard's assists will go up. He's already a good rebounder.there is maybe one PG in the league that could average that and its not dame
How do you replace LMA 24ppg Wes 17ppg? With a bunch of guys that aren't scorers and never averaged more than 9ppg? Dames easily going to average 25/6 at least
What did CJ and Meyers do wrong?I've moved to acceptance. I just hope Lillard doesn't become too dispirited. That's the only player I care about now.
ummm, I don't think Indiana would be holding out for shit. They wanted Hibbert to opt out, they'd probably just give him to us if we asked.I assume Indiana is holding out for a young player or draft pick in the deal. That is why I was thinking Vonleh since he played for Indiana. I hope not though.
I guess we classify Leonard as a stretch 5 so I guess we still had room.
Leonard, Plumlee, Davis, Vonleh.........Kaman
Yes, good for this team to at least have some kind of identity. And it looks like we're becoming a young athletic team, full of scrappy players. Big change from the prior crew.I certainly wouldn't mind. I think we can all agree that outside of Wes we've been a pretty soft team for quite some time. Not so sure that label can be applied any longer.
A young Dale Davis right?Dale Davis.
I didn't make that comparison because of their last name but their skillsets are eerily similar.
How Stotts coaches this team will be interestingYes, good for this team to at least have some kind of identity. And it looks like we're becoming a young athletic team, full of scrappy players. Big change from the prior crew.
Yes, total roster overhaul with players that are very different from what we've had before. How Stotts coaches this team will be interesting
How Thibs coaches this team will be interesting

Nothing. Until they prove they can actually produce, however, to me they're irrelevant.
Good man.“It was a tough thing,” Davis said. “But it’s about finding the right deal at the right time and getting the financial part and security.”
After also fielding interest from New York, Detroit, Golden State and Boston, Davis also narrowed in on the Trail Blazers for other reasons.
Davis gushed about All-Star point guard Damian Lillard, the city of Portland and its passionate fanbase. Davis also sounded optimistic about having a significant role either to provide frontcourt depth behind LaMarcus Aldridge and Robin Lopez, or mitigate their absence should any of them leave via free agency.
“No matter who is there, I’m going to fight every day for playing time. I’m confident in myself,” Davis said. “I’m going to find a way I’m on the court. I’m not worried about what they’re doing. I’m just focused on myself on how I can help the team and get better.”

I don't watch Plumlee much but it seems like rolls and put backs are his entire game.Supposedly, that was one of Dame's strengths coming out of college. Maybe we'll see his assists rack up next year.
I'm In For Lin.Lin would be a good backup PG/SG. I don't want to rely on Frazier, who is still unproven at the NBA level, and on CJ, who hasn't proved that he's can run point.
Whoa! That's what we want to hear! Welcome to Rip City Ed Davis!“It was a tough thing,” Davis said. “But it’s about finding the right deal at the right time and getting the financial part and security.”
