Im thinking of when i use to deal with this old homeless white dude. He'd call any black dude the n word. I heard some guys talking about him, black guys if it matters. They said old harry is a cool guy, he'll call you an n word in a second though. I remember white people getting offended and black people just laughing it off because he was crazy. I dont think all black people are wound as tight as you think.

Now there were some racist black guys too. Theyd call me a cracka in a second, and any black guy on my side was an uncle tom. None of us were offended, but every now and then id see a white cop get offended. Id tell them to grow a pair.

At this point in society i just kind of assume anyone who is actually racist is crazy. To me there has to be something off about them to think melanin defines character.

On the same thought though, racist jokes, if light hearted, are funny to me. It's just like shooting the shit with your boys. Context is everything though, and im realizing the internet is poor context.

@dviss1 id like to apologize for being insensitive and assure you i never meant any ill thoughts with my jokes. @SlyPokerDog is possible could you delete all my previous posts and allow me to start over. Not just this threa but all posts. If not that's ok.

You're mostly spot on about a certain set of behavior coming from the same general folks.

If you really want all posts deleted and a fresh start I suggest you just create a new moniker. If you like I can go back and enter all of your likes from this account but I'm not really interested in manually deleting 8,400 posts, lol.

I guess I can accept this as a complement. :blush:
But I might also point out how inaccurate it maybe. I would venture the guess that dviss has called me racist more than any other person in the forum. Over the years now. So I must not be all that damn good at avoiding insulting him. Often I have no idea what triggered the retort. There seems to be a code book I never received. Now you may note, I do not join in on many TV or Movie discussion and I dislike most comedy stuff. I really have not spent a life learning pop culture. Just too damn much else to do. I suspect the code book is hidden in there some where, that is fine.
