I did this last spring. 23and me.

76% British Islander
23% German
1% Balkan

Not really any surprises since I knew two of my grandparents came from the British Isles, Scotland. One from Wales, via one his parents from there. My other grandmother from Ohio, one of her parent came from Germany.
Don't really know about the Balkan. Perhaps there is a sea story there.


My gransdson did also. His dad is from Northern Italy (Lombardi) and his mother is my daughter. The surprise here was, he is about .05 percent Neanderthal. err maybe .5?

Let’s be real here though. I’m not so fond of the super liberal and you are the super liberal. Doesn’t surprise me you think my points suck. That’s to be expected. What I always find funny and ironic is the far left are supposed to be tolerant and progressive yet I’m on ignore. For what? Having a different opinion than you most of the time and you can’t stand just looking at it. I always thought the ignore feature was for the weak. You came in here wondering why you couldn’t see my posts. Deep

I actually do like you Cippy, it’s why I get bothered by some of your posts. I feel like a while back you took on a persona and now you are stuck in that persona. The stuff you say often has little or no attachment to reality. One post contradicts the last. The only thread is they are in some way trying to be offensive.

You used to post thoughtfully, grow and reassess your views but that’s not the case anymore. I hope that Cippy returns. And not because you will agree with me, you most likely will still disagree but you could develop good arguments and give me food for thought, perhaps influence my thinking,

I am vocal and certainly lean liberal but I’m most certainly not super liberal. I’m quick to excoriate the violence used by members of the far left to silence opposing views. I am a gun owner and although I believe in sensible legislation I don’t think they should be banned and I don’t think they or their owners are evil. I would like the government to spend less, mainly less on the military but even on certain social programs. I do however think universal healthcare is a needed step for America to excel into the future.

I’m a mixed bag of ideas. I don’t adhere to some ideology like socialism, libertarianism or other. I just believe in being prudent, going topic to topic and figuring out how to delve into the complexities of our modern world.

Well that’s dramatic. I don’t know what persona I would be taking on but okay. I feel what I say has a lot of attachment to reality, I just don’t think you wanna see it or accept it. It’s easy when you’re in an echo chamber

You claim you’re for conversations and “diving into the complexities” yet you have me on ignore. That’s hypocritical.
