the youth should be wanting these sort of jobs to gain experience in the work force and pay for their first bills. you know, learn responsibility. no one should want to make it a career, but it shouldn't be above anyone to start learning responsibility at a young age. the reason many of them get assistance is because they either A) don't file taxes or B) claim 9 on their W-4 and get a bunch of fake socials to file so they end up getting everything + some back. and you know as well as i do if you make minimum wage you qualify for food stamps, especially if you claim to have dependents. Now, it's been my experience that it's not mexicans that use the food stamps, but mostly lazy Americans.
Most youth these days expect to be making what their parents make right out of the gate because they are entitled little ass clowns. I dont know about you, but my first job was minimum wage stocking groceries. I watched as a peer of mine decided to make it a career, where he topped out at about $13 an hour 5 years later. I held the job for 3 months before finding something better. That's what these jobs are for, even the employers know it's not a career, that's why they don't pay you shit, but im sure they love when some idiot thinks it's a career cause that's one less person they need to train.
