and a good teacher should be able to work around that. why do they force everyone to do homework because some cant learn without it? utilize multiple teaching techniques. customize each child. maybe some need to study, good, tell them to study, if they dont, they fail because they weren't responsible. if people struggle with tests, give them an oral test without them knowing it's a test. just ask questions in class and call on them. and mentally note who is picking up the material. this would help the test takers too because we learn from listening and debate. now the tests come in and he got a D but he answered shit right during class, adjust the grade.
Looks good on paper, but doesn't work that way.
I'm not really comfortable getting into my experience on a forum as to why it doesn't work that way.
Will only say it just doesn't work that way.
I did have good teachers though, without good teachers throughout my middle & high school I don't graduate due to poor testing. Yet I'm close to being able to put Dr. in front of my name.
