Nuggets have an exciting young squad, but we were told coming into this series that they or the Bucks are the deepest team in the league. Aside from Barton at times, I didn't really notice. Meanwhile, on Portland's end, we got huge contributions Hood, Collins, Turner, Curry. Hell, even Meyers made his presence known. Great series and Nuggets were impressive, but I think turning that supposed advantage from their favor to ours might be the key to us moving on.
It also implies they have a better starting five, and the NBA pundits are quick to mention how scary that core is going to be going forward. I think I'd still go with our core of Dame, CJ, Collins, Nurk over the next 3-4 years.
