EDIT: On the other hand if your threads and posts resemble MIXUM's so closely that might be something you'd want to look into.

"WOW, Sport" if you bother to look at both the replies on this thread and your previous thread, you can see from the lop-sided replies who's really the simpleton here.

If you really want to delve into this and make this into a jab at you when it really never was, that's just your "misunderstanding" of the issue. As for me misunderstanding your thread? There's really not much to misunderstand about a (supposedly) grown man crying like a little baby and whining about things (i.e. Oden's play and development) that 1) are based on your unrealistic expectations and 2) you have absolutely no control over.

Bitching and moaning like that is not THAT hard to understand so there's really nothing to misunderstand . . . so don't even try now to mix in a couple of words you had to look up in the dictionary to make sure you spelled correctly just to make it sound like you're some knowledgeable basketball mind.

And do you really want to play the "you don't have a life because you post on a forum" card? Wanna break out the race card next? Or maybe "yo mamma" jokes? Bring it.

Honestly I'd forgotten who started that one and obviously many posters in this thread were thinking that someone else beside you was the target of the sarcasm. The point was combining and expanding on perceived over the top views for laughs... which are a good thing. If I were a Blazer fan making that particular thread I'd happily eat platefuls of crow to witness Greg dominating nightly. You had to figure that making a thread like that would earn you a bit of grief every now and then... roll with it.

That's the irony of this. My thread was all about getting Oden the ball and the misuse to date of Oden by the offense and coaching staff. Now they are pounding the ball into him and it's working!!!

Yenniedn couldn't understand that like 30 freaking times on my thread! He thought is had to do with not liking Oden which it NEVER stated. So of course it sits wrong with me when he mocks my my title thread with one of his own. To this date after 150 replies on my thread Yenniedn still couldn't tell ya what my views are. He still thinks it's about wanting Oden to be an instant star.

It was never that complex so don't make it out to be anything more than it really was. As you asserted, my simpleton mind doesn't think along those lines so my stance was pretty straightforward and that was:

it is laughable for a grown man (who I'm sure, like many of us, has a full-time job, a mortgage to pay, kids to raise, investments to track, etc.) to go on a public forum not halfway into a then 20yr old rookie center's first season (after microfracture surgery) and cry, whine and basically panic about him the way you did. That's it. That's all there really is to it; plain and simple. Nothing more.

14 points and 14 rebounds tonight. I don't care how many "good" games Oden has, he's still a bust. If others can have man-crushes on Sergio no matter how many TO's he has . . . or continuously spew negativity in spite of everything . . . or hate Trout after every game winning shot he hits, I reserve the right to label GO a bust already.

Actually, I've given it some thought and I think Oden's not that bad. He actually has pretty good upside. I'll give him another chance. Let's keep him.

I'm not speaking as a moderator, just as a fellow user...but can we put a moratorium on these sorts of "I'm sarcastically bashing the team and players to prove a point about how much bashing there is on this forum" threads? I think the joke and the point have either registered or they never will. ;) Ultimately, though, these threads are no more productive than the actual bashing threads.

I don't purport to speak for everyone, just for myself, of course.
