Watching this right now, and I'm simply fascinated. Sure, it's basically a blatant commercial for one university, and sure, Calipari is about as sketchy as they come, but seeing the behind-the-scenes stuff on his team has me very interested in watching them this season. I'd love to see some more of these for other schools--I think it would be very beneficial to college basketball.

Like how players stay one year, don't attend class, drive a Bemer and shuffle on to the NBA.

You spelled BEEMER wrong Duck fan!

...actually, you BOTH spelled it wrong! "Bimmer" is the proper/accepted slang for BMW cars, but most people don't know this. :devilwink:

Oops...... that why I drive an Audi FAMS! We don't have or need a stupid nickname for our rides!

Actually, more like how their team averaged a 3.2 GPA last year; how Alex Poythress brought his sister with him to Kentucky and tutors her in math; how Willie Cauley-Stein was a 7-foot wide receiver when UK recruited him, and is (supposedly) way further along in his development than Calipari ever expected. They even had some scenes of the kids in their classes, actually studying college-level material and answering legitimate in-class questions.

I know none of this fits with the national narrative, but amazingly enough, some blue-chip ballers actually go to class and learn.

Watching Duke-Kentucky on ESPN right now. I'm keeping a close eye on Kentucky reserve 7-footer Willie Cauley-Stein. I have this feeling that he might end up having a better NBA future than Nerlens Noel. Also watching forward Alex Poythress. I like this kid's attitude.

Calipari's always been a slimeball. There's not a coach in the country that likes him. Calhoun was always that way, too.
