Hmmm ... just about 3 blocks from the Federal building ... I might just see you suckahs there.

Well, I can't make the party...I suppose I could go to the Warriors' but I'll pass.

The Blazers need a GM and preferably head coach by draft day, but lotto day? What skill does it take to stand at a podium?

I can dismiss second rounders - you are lucky to get a journeyman. But too many first round including lottery misses. I'd rather have Indiana's GM.

What misses? Kaman's been an all-star, Livingston simply got injured, Thornton's been solid, Gordon's very good, Griffin's a stud, Aminu is still too young to judge. The only real miss was Korolev, an 18-year-old foreigner.

It sounds like the Blazers read this article before talking about who they want as a new GM. That sounds almost exactly what the Blazers are looking for. Miller has talked about what they need and Olshey fits the bill for most of it. Experience, changed the culture of an organization, thinks both long and short term, and can convince an owner what he thinks is right. The Blazers probably would need to bring in a cap expert to help out. Olshey is a player personal guy although it sounds like he has some understanding of the cap.

It wouldn't surprise me to hear Blazers offer the position to Olshey in the next few days. Whether or not he takes it is a different story.

I actually think this is KEY aspect that any potential GM for POR needs to have....Allen has publically said that he likes to question his GM and be sold on players\moves, so as a GM you have to be able to sell him on the moves you want to make....

I think Cho had the right vision for what needed to happen, however I just don't think he could sell it to Allen....and either Buchanan is unable to sell Allen on what he wants to do or his analysis of players is completely off...

Allen wanting to be sold on players might make Morway....a former agent a great fit. Assuming he listens to the Born Identifier more than Chad Buchanan

I think we should avoid a Meet and Greet with the next GM. Unless of course it's still Chad. Maybe Sly can get that process started, just in case the Draft rolls in and it's still Chad.

Kenny, we know you know "everything". But what does MM say?

I like the ......"trust me I know" part.

I wonder what that quote meant? Does he know they are busy, or not as busy?

PA confirms it's down to 4 candidates:

GM search has made progress, I have interviewed four candidates in person, good talks, doing more reference checks now.

(Sorry if this is already posted.)

Why don't you start by telling us what you know?

The HCP will start to feel a burning sensation shortly after he has sex with Mrs HCP (sorry buddy)

Whoever the Blazers hire will say it's the guy they wanted all along

My new adhd drugs are working really well

resurfacing my pool will cost less than expected

Good deal. So Olshey, Morway, Bower and Chad?

None of which is helpful to any of us.

Mrs. HCP will be shut down for some time.

That's what the Blazers always do (When the draft began, we had four players we wanted, and we got each one).

Your new ADHD pills should be helpful to us - if they even help to cut your rants and suicidal thoughts on the franchise.

Shit, it's a kiddie pool. You just go to Fred Meyer and buy another - they're only $6.
