When I click that link in the OP I get an article about cricket![]()
If this was baseball I'd be batting .1000
It's crazy, but most of my thoughts are my own.You got all of that out of MM's post? Wow... I'm impressed.
You are a true multi-sport star. You knowledge of baseball equals your knowledge of basketball.

Quality math skillsSo, 10%?
That is funny. Mean, but funny.
I am sure he meant 1.000 - and he is right. He originally told us that a deal is coming soon. Many a deal came and went since then. As long as they play professional basketball and trades are allowed, he will continue to bat 1.000 on that proclamation.
No. I took everyones word on him. Benefit of the doubtSave just a little bit of face. So when he starts balling you can have something to hold on to.
Those damn decimalsNot sure I'd be bragging about getting it right 10% of the time.
Ya. I'd like to blame my kidney stones, but I just failedYou are a true multi-sport star. You knowledge of baseball equals your knowledge of basketball.

Sure, if you ignore the "soon" part. Unless we are defining soon on a geologic time scale.
Nice article. We got really lucky with Swanigan.

The Dude IS a sweet talker."My motor is going to be the best in the NBA," Swanigan said. "That is my goal, that is what I want to be. You come watch Swanigan play, he is playing hard every night, just talking, just trying to win. That is the type of player I want to be and the legacy I want to leave."

Uh-oh. He's referring to himself in the third person...As do I..
No we didn't. Neil targeted his guy and went and got him.
How exactly did Neil go and get him? By sitting at 26 and having him fall in his lap? How is luck not involved there?

GMs "target" players in every draft, but not all of them work out. We "targeted" Greg Oden, Sam Bowie and LaRue Martin, for example, and we didn't get lucky with any of them. So far, it appears that we got lucky with Swanigan. No we didn't. Neil targeted his guy and went and got him.
A good motor and a willingness to bang can be fairly judged with a relatively small sample size.As tired as the people who say the same when someone is disappointed in a player after a couple games. Serious question....Whats the difference?
Fall in his lap? Swanigan was an Early 2nd round prospect. Stop revising history.
Remember back in February when CLE agreed to move the pick from the Varegao trade up by one year from 2018 too 2017...
Maybe Neil had his sights set on Swanigan at that time and planned to use the CLE pick to get him.
Or not.

According to who NBA draft.net ? History says he was the first rounder, so maybe it's you that should stop trying to revise it.
Show me a mock that had him in the first round. I'll wait.

But these mocks mean nothing theyre just opinions, shit you can go back on this very board and check my pre-draft arguments with bonesJones where I said that Id take Swanigan even higher than the end of the first
People just don't make sense sometimes. You post two mock drafts one of which has us taking him at 26 and another have him going at 27... so again, how did Neil Target his guy? He went and took on a contract to get another first-round pick and got the guy that he wanted. Any suggestion to the contrary in my opinion is subjective.
