OT ESPN mass layoffs

People seem to think they're clearing out all of these big nba guys to bring in Woj and the Vertical.

Sports writing is dead. Too many people on twitter can put out the same content minus the trade rumors and insider info.

Skip and Screaming A Smith seem like they should be working at the DMV. Skip already left didn't he?

SAS, they're just being nice because he can't do anything else.

ESPN tried to pass off who declared for the draft as "insider" information. LOL!

Didn't someone on this board work at ESPN in Bristol?

ESPN's NBA coverage died two years ago when Woj was tweeting draft spoilers ten minutes before the show could announce the picks. It's only now that the body has stopped twitching.

The moment I started to go to other sites was when it became more mobile friendly like two years ago. It it so infuriating:

1) Why can I only see a two or three stats when I go to a players stat page? For anything beyond mpg, ppg, rpg or gp, avg, hr, rbi, etc. I have to go to a different site.

2) Why can't I see the fucking score when I go to a team's clubhouse? They force you to click on their bulky gamecast loaded with autoplay commercials.

3) Why can I only see a team's previous games on their clubhouse now without clicking on schedule? It used to show the upcoming games too.

There's more but these ones specifically rendered ESPN practically useless to me. /rant

Sucks to bump this, but add John Clayton's name to the list of layoffs.

Yet Screamin A Racist is still there

Stephen A Smith is still employed for the same reason that John Canzano is still employed.

They get clicks.
