That sentence is just befuddling. Your "shoot first" PG is also 9th in the league in assists. There are very few PG's who are assists machines now and Lillard most definetly makes players better, just having him on the floor opens up passing lanes and gets people open because of the attention D's put on him..

Assists stats are also irrelevant (may i need to remind you of Stephon Marbury?) and making the team better is different than making your teammates better.
That last point you made applies to Kobe as well.

Kobe was going to shoot and it didn't matter what, you just knew he was going to hoist up shots. Lillard shoots a lot but he also makes some amazing passes, Lillard doesn't mind giving the ball up which is something Kobe had a real problem with. You can tell just watching that Lillard is trying to make the best play he can out there, and with his teammates can you blame him for shooting as much as he does?

That's not the point, i just don't like the fact that every second star in the league is somehow "making his teammates better".
It's true for rare players like Magic Johnson,Jason Kidd or Lebron James, but to say that Lillard makes his teammates better while AD can't because he's not a leader or whatever is kinda weird for me.

Never said AD didn't make his teammates better. Lots of players make there teammates better especially a player who can score and is a willing passer. Lillard isn't on the level of Magic or LBJ but that doesn't mean he isn't making his teammates better.

Dame does make his team better in alot of ways. Is assit would be double digit if players around him would make there shots if we had a third scorer in the starting lineup that would whole alot different in some of you see Dame. Is leadership alone makes players better.

of course, it's not black and white.

Wow, so you take the 5th worst defensive team in the league, subtract Anthony Davis, add Lillard and you get a playoff team?

Wow.

Just wanted to see if you were setting people up for a point, and you did. Had I said no, I had no faith in Lillard, I say yes, and you say this.

I knew it was a no-right-answer trap. Thanks for confirming!

oh, and for the record, I am right.

Whiteside knee injury going MRI tomorrow this could hurt is value if something is mess up in his knee.

Wow, so you take the 5th seed in the 2015 playoffs, subtracted 4 of 5 starters, add castoffs and you get a playoff team?

Wow.

Biggest stat on making your teammates better is here though.
82, 82, 82, 75. - Lillard
64, 67, 68, 61 - Davis

You know exactly what i'm talking about. Lillard is a shoot-first point guard, he does not make other players better so your comment was irrelevant.

Know. I honestly have no clue what the hell your talking about. I was about to copy and paste some stats but other people beat me to it. Read below please.... Read it again, because its obvious you didn't the first time when you replied to Rhal.

There are very few PG's who are assists machines now and Lillard most definitely makes players better, just having him on the floor opens up passing lanes and gets people open because of the attention D's put on him. That's not all he does but it really doesn't' seem like I should have to go into it.

Blazers Roy, have you heard or read any of the many many comments Dames fellow teamates have said about him? He is absolutely making his players better. He provides stability and humility even though he is the leader. He holds himself accountable and to the same standards as others. This helped the team and players become comfortable and perform at a higher level. He helped them work on what to improve.

I'm sorry man, but you don't have a clue what the hell your talking about. Dame absolutely made his teammates better...in many many ways. I suggest you widen that lens a bit my friend! :)

If that's your answer then i guess our little discussion is over.

Actually, you quoted one portion of my post. I still have some contacts in my box. I can lend them to you if it helps you better diagnose exactly what you read and what you quote.

Here is a hint. This conversation was over the moment you entered it because you are unable to look at the whole picture and insist on looking through a keyhole to develop your version of Dame's capabilities with regards to making his teammates better. This discussion was over in your first post regarding the subject.

I do applaud your effort at trying to keep it going though. Much like the Blazers this season. I commend you. :)

Listen, Nothing against you bro, your a fan, and I respect that, butIm here to play, but play realistically and I call bullshit when I see it is all. :)

Elsewhere, in another thread based on reality....

You're attitude is a bit condescending, i don't have the ability to look at the whole picture?
I'm allowed to have my own opinion about which player makes other players better. I'm not forcing the issue and i'm not trying to convince anyone for longer than i should, the moment people start making accusations about the poster (me) instead of the topic at hand is the same moment i call quits.

Itsa condescending because your twisting shit around. . Like quoting only a portion of my post, focusing only on it, as if its all I said. If you dont want to feel that tone, then dont omit portions of a post for your personal benefit to make it more dramatic than it is..

Man the skin around here. so fragile... lol
Sorry if I offended you.....
