And I don’t fault anyone for believing what ET has posted is inappropriate and being bothered by it. I simply don’t understand how someone can deem his actions as inappropriate but not BG’s. I disagree completely. I expect much less from everyone else than I expect from myself. Especially around here.

I must admit if he put that stuff out there in that manner, he's got a lot of growing up to do. The mouth is like the rudder of a ship.
I know he's young and thats sometimes hard to remember with these pro's and I hope he learns from mistakes like all of us. But someone needs to let him know that talk like that is BS and grow up, either he will or won't.
 
I remember back in the day when people could have different opinions on topics and that was okay--and somewhat expected. Now that we live in 1984 the number of people that try and enforce wrong think is disturbing.

ET was a good teammate. ET also did/said things to others that weren't his teammates that some (including me) crossed my personal lines of decency. Others may draw their lines in different places, and that is up to them.

However we should all be careful of trying to force groupthink and punish those who don't conform.

I remember seeing a few things in games and thinking "wow, don't get on ET's bad side".

That Evan Turner shit was recent. I still rooted for him because he's a Blazer but I'm not sad to see him go and I wont applaud or give him an ovation or any of that BS. Those things he said are a big reason why.

Really quickly, and imma need you to check that "disappointed in you shit" at the door and here's why:

When the FUCK did I say what Turner did was good, ok, right, or something to be praised? Riiiiiight... I never did. What I did was compare what he did to Blake Griffin's transgressions.

And IMHO, compared to Blake, what ET did was NOTHING... No one was physically harmed or assaulted. So the whole:

"You want that influencing the youth?"

Is a convoluted, bullshit, straw man that you just made up because I never said that either.

That said, wasn't Turner "influencing the youth" when he got Simons and Trent fitted for suits so they could set good examples while dressed out on the road??

YES, I'd rather have him "influencing the youth" than that sexual assaulter...

After I say this, this is the last time I'll speak of it because you think talking about somebody's mother is worse than fighting someone or grabbing the back of their neck to have crotch face... That's ALL I'm comparing.

Your downplaying it by saying it's every day shit and bringing up something that happened 4 years ago with someone else.

Thats not every day shit for a public figure. Not at all. You're comparing randoms on a video game to NBA players.

So the dude used his $18M to get rookies some suits? That excuses everything? Meanwhile BG hasn't had any public issues in 4 years ...

I dont think its worse. I simply think that people can learn from their mistakes and improve. I think Blake has done that. Hopefully ET does that as well.
