Evan Turner becomes a Blazer

If you look at the Boston fan forums probably 80-90 % of the posts in the ET appreciation threads are bummed that he's gone. I had to laugh when a guy posted "I hated him before he came here and hated him the whole time he was here. Now that he's gone I just realized I'm really gonna miss him." Hmm, sounds like a Blazer fan.

Turner's going to be a fantastic player for us. The only problem is that I was hoping for a game-changer in the form of Whiteside or Howard. Shrug, I'll get over it... at least sooner than most people here....

Our salary right now without any of our RFAs is 67 million. If they resign everyone at say 15 for Crabbe, 12 for Harkless, and 12 for Leonard, we would then be at 106 millipn. Over the salary cap with little to no trade flexibility, looking at max extensions for CJ and a significant contract for Plumlee.

All of this for Evan Turner. Think about that for a second. The most marginal of improvements in exchange for the entirety of our flexibility.
4 million would not change flexibility and so we go over the cap it not the luxury tax we going over.

How is it that ESPN has already added Dwight Howard to Atlanta's roster on their trade machine, but Evan Turner is still on the Celtics....

If someone could just slap the shit out of him until he changed his jump shot form, he'd be a perrenial all-star.

I give up. Keeps freezing on me. When I refresh, I have to watch a commercial every time. Conspiracy theory, incoming. ;)
