Totally forgot they have another branch in Little Tokyo, which is closer to you.

Those places are just great, I need to come up to LA sometime, I haven't been by the area lately, unless its to drop off or pick up someone at LAX.

Korean BBQ out here is insane.

I like the Nanban Ramen at Honda Ya. Best ramen is in LA though.

Ramen-ya on Olympic blvd just around the corner from Sawtelle is my favorite. They have this roasted pork shoyu ramen which is just out of this world.

Yeah I settle for Korean BBQ over here cause its close. They have a Korean BBQ Buffet on Red Hill off the 5 Freeway, its decent.

Also in Garden Grove, in Korea Town (basically just Garden Grove Blvd.), they have a couple of good places to eat at.

Shape lives in Irvine as well, and I've been trying to get him to grab some food with me, but he's busy.

What's really good is Bahn Mi, Vietnamese sandwhiches....they are ultra cheap (like $1.50) and tasty and filling. beat the SHIT out of Subway or whatever.

Also, Vietnamese drip coffee is probably some of the best in the world....they have it drip into condensed milk which is just awesome.

Best Baguette in SE Portland/Beaverton makes the best Vietnamese Sandwiches. I crave them daily. My personal fav is BBQ Pork...

the Vietnamese fish sauce is much more subdued than Phillipine "Patis". The best part about it, is the sweetness and subtlety.

Then you probably don't want to touch Vietnamese food. Most of Vietnamese food has at least a small amount of fish sauce in it. You hate fish sauce, try anchovy paste LOL!

Ty food is pretty good, too.
