Quality > quantity
The raw data suggests otherwise.
Yeah, look how far that's getting us this year.
Raw data once suggested Outlaw and Gay were equal players
Raw data is obviously not the be-all, end-all
Uhhh Gay is not really that good. Overhyped. It's why Memphis decided to let him go.
Well, for the sake of circumventing a pointless argument I'll give you that. But the difference isn't THAT great. And it still stands that the Millsap/Monroe combo would have more combined talent than the LMA/FA Center combo. So if you want quality, you go Millsap/Monroe.No.
In the NBA you want quality. Aldridge is obviously the best player in that group.

Being an all-star doesn't get you any bonus points in the playoffs.
Yup, and Millsap/Monroe > LMA/FA Center.
I'm out - Happy VD!

Monroe's team is worse than we are! Lol

You watched last night's game, right?![]()
Yeah and? Have you seen the game the night before? Okc lost to Miami by 12 tonight at home.

Pistons aren't much worse than we are. They might catch us if we keep playing how we have. Then what?
Our team is sadly lacking in smart D.
Does Monroe command a double team?
That I can agree on. Monroe isn't that much of that dominating defensive center though, FYI
It's not about being dominating. It's about being a reliable defensive player able to make the correct reads in a split second. I can live with that.
You would be fine trading Aldridge for a player like that? I wouldn't
I'm fine with trading any player depending upon the returning value.
Well that's fine; but Monroe doesn't give us the value we send. Sorry but I don't see anything that could sway me the other way.
First, it wouldn't be a one-for-one swap. Second, you would want at least equal value in return.

Got any suggestions? What other players on Detroit is worth a shit?
