That and a buck still leaves me short of the price of a cup of coffee. Most of us got over that expectation as very young men (and women). We just want what we were promised when we signed on the dotted line. Trump does NOT honor his commitments and veterans are just further collateral damage to his ego.....and those of his Billionaire Boyz (and Linda) Club. And more and more Americans are just fine with that. Sometimes it pays to be in my seventies...........

Why doesn't our government have this for us already? It's insane that Musk has the best satellite coverage on planet.

We have to figure out an alternate way to fund quality politicians and vote against anybody who takes money from corporations or oligarchs.

Yeah, no idea what Internet provider to pick. T-Mobile froze rate for as long as I use it, everyone else has great start rate and then skyrockets. Suggestions?

Highly recommend Ziply (they've been incredible, but I hear they've been purchased by a very bad Canadian ISP) or Sonic (both fiber optic) if you can get them. I think both are available in the San Francisco area. But I'm not sure exactly what area you're in or what neighborhoods are covered by which.

Probably lean toward Sonic if possible.

Did quick search, a lot of good introductory rates but then goes up.
 
Soooooo my @Tesla @cybertruck crashed into a curb and then a light post on v13.2.4.

Thank you @Tesla for engineering the best passive safety in the world. I walked away without a scratch. It failed to merge out of a lane that was ending (there was no one on my left) and made no attempt to slow down or turn until it had already hit the curb. Big fail on my part, obviously. Don't make the same mistake I did. Pay attention. It can happen. I follow Tesla and FSD pretty closely and haven't heard of any accident on V13 at all before this happened. It is easy to get complacent now - don't.

@Tesla_AI how do I make sure you have the data you need from this incident? Service center etc has been less than responsive on this. I do have the dashcam footage. I want to get it out there as a PSA that it can happen, even on v13, but I'm hesitant because I don't want the attention and I don't want to give the bears/haters any material. Spread my message and help save others from the same fate or far worse.
 
Musk paid what $22 billion for Twitter? He bought the United States government for $250 million. Heckuva deal.

President Musk announced plans to eliminate entire departments. The ones regulating his businesses and investigating his legal violations.

Russia asks Elon Musk to hand over names of dissidents
MPs in Moscow want a list of Russians funded by USAid, the American aid scheme shut down by Donald Trump, to be given to the security services

Moscow has appealed to the US to identify exiled Russian opposition figures who received funding from America’s international aid agency, which Elon Musk described as a “criminal organisation”.

President Trump’s move to freeze international assistance for 90 days and suspend the work of the US Agency for International Development (USAid) has devastated funding for Russian opposition media and human rights groups.

Vyacheslav Volodin, the chairman of the Duma, Russia’s parliament, said on Tuesday: “If they recognised the [USAid] organisation as an enemy, let them give us the lists. Congress will send us the lists — we will give them to the FSB [Russian security service].”

Musk, who has been tasked by Trump with slashing billions from public spending, has alleged that USAid was illegally funnelling money to far-left organisations. He did not provide evidence. Trump said USAid was “run by radical lunatics”.

Volodin said that exiled Russian opposition figures would be left “hungry and cold” after US funding was cut off. “Those who received money from abroad, now let them publicly confess and repent on Red Square,” he told MPs.

Up to 90 opposition-linked organisations have already lost their funding, according to The Moscow Times, an independent website that has been banned in Russia.

Created by John F Kennedy during the Cold War, USAid was seen for decades as a vital element of American soft power. It has distributed billions of dollars in aid to some of the world’s most impoverished countries.
