Apparently there's a Dame tweet out there implying he's going to Miami to win a couple chips like Lebron did and then come back to Portland and win one.....I guess if it makes him feel less guilty, he's a wordsmith, I'll give him that. I don't use twitter so don't know for sure.

Riley is going to make mincemeat of Cronin.

No, Dame and his demand will make mincemeat of Cronin...Or any GM that is put in that position. So tired of people who have no idea of what's it's like to be in the arena taking shots a guy who's doing it.

it wasn’t his. He shared it on his timeline from a fan.

Supposedly Dame liked a tweet from someone else that said that.

I feel like Miami would offer us something like Denver did with Raymond Felton for Andre Miller in a Dame trade.

Herro, Lowry, Martin, Jovic, picks

Herro goes elsewhere for something and Lowry as well or bought out

Just my guess
Still waiting to find out who the All-Star is

Is it Lowry? Was Lowry the all-star all along?

did Bledsoe make an All-Star team? Cronin & Billups showered us with Bledsoe compliments before buying out Eric's contract.

If Dame only wants to go to Miami, Cronin has to be prepared to take it to the trade deadline.

Durant chose his team too, and Brooklyn got back some good players. But it was at the deadline.

Very valid take. Find some team feeling like it’s the mid season move to win now.

If he wrote that, that's fucked up. I love the dude but come on.

No.

However, a trade could be agreed to and they could wait 30 days to finalize it.

Jaquez isn't a big deal anyway in my opinion.

Yeah, 30 days is not a big deal, plus his salary helps (a little bit) Miami match Dame's salary.

Even if he comes back, and they win , it won't be because of him.

He can take his "if I don't win a title Im ok with it" and go chase it on a team he didn't struggle with

If I was in Dame's shoes, I'd want the Knicks. If I could go there and win a championship, I go down as a New York god.

Winning a ring with Miami does nothing for him.

Unless there is something new. He liked a tweet of a fan that said that. Not him tweeting it.

Yeah, Riley is putting out there yeah we dont want to include Martin and now Jaquez. Id much rather deal with Marks than Riley.

He's trying to fleece us. He thinks he can get the same kind of crap deal that Washington got for Beal.

He knows that he just lost several key role players and if he loses Caleb Martin and Jaime Jaquez Jr, he has that much more work cut out for him to put a team around his trio.

Everyone's favorite group of people.

Miami does not have what Dame is worth as because if they get rid of say, Bam, then that the defeats the purpose of getting Dame in the first place.

Dame could pull a Kobe and refuse to play, souring any other team on wanting him.
And I would happily let him stay home and just take a paycheck. He'd relinquish sooner or later. This is the deal we have to win.

I guess you're right in that Dame needs to play more than we need to win lol

We should not waste our time hoping to get equal value. That is not happening. But we do need at least two nice young pieces in addition to picks. The Nets have two IMO. Miami does not unless Jovic and Jaquez turn out to be good.
Why? Every other team with a superstar has. Why are we different?
