People will laugh at this, but I'd rather see Armon Johnson out there. At least that would be entertaining.

But honestly, I'd start Crawford and bring Smith off the bench. Crawford has been disappointing, but Felton has been sewage. Let Williams get some backup time at PG.

Find another guard in the league that is playing as horribly as Raymond Felton.

Well of course it is. Didn't you hear that Miller doesn't play McMillan's way? McMillan yelled that at him during the big argument. Eventually, ridicule from the media and management pressure made McMillan bench Blake. McMillan wants a shooting, not a passing, PG, so management later replaced Miller to please McMillan.

Where were you? You missed this whole 2-year conflict?

It's not the coaches fault. This is entirely managements fault. They continue to cave to Nate's desires for the team, and they continue to fail.

It's like a corporation. The Board chooses the CEO and then gets him the resources he says he needs. If they don't agree with those resources, they replace him now not later, when he fails later because they wouldn't do things his way now.

So I wouldn't criticize management for trying to meet the coach's professed needs. I'd criticize them for not replacing the coach, and maybe criticize the scouts for not perceiving Felton's talents accurately, although Felton was probably the best PG they could get for Miller.

Nate has a history though of sticking with certain guys no matter what. When you can shoot 30/15 from the field, in addition to being a turnover machine, and still keep your starting job, that is pretty bad. Felton has had plenty of time to get with it.....you gotta make a change at some point.
