I'm surprised, people thought he should have been an all star. I could see him getting 4/14

I was thinking around the same if not more when teams started panicking following the Melo/Bosh/Wade/Lebron signings.

The Cleveland Cavaliers will not be giving restricted free agent small forward Gordon Hayward an offer sheet after his visit with the team on Wednesday, a person with knowledge of the situation told USA TODAY Sports. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the situation

Keep the Lebron hope alive and Utah may match anyways???

Hayward to Detroit
Monroe to Ptd
Robinson, Leonard and Wright to Utah

Before anyone starts I have no idea if salaries match, just thinking Detroit needs a SF, Blazers need a big, what does Utah need?

saving their money for hawes

Battier was right -- It's easier to get a 30-something y/o vet to take less than it is a younger guy.

I love it that they are striking out. Lowry was their guy.

Maybe San Antonio really has been running the show the whole time...

Mike miller was chilling with KD at what looks to be some ones house. Might be going to okc.

Ahhhhh hahaha okay! Yeah I would love them to strike out everywhere

I think kyle Lowry might be one of the biggest trade assets down the road.

Every damn time we have a lockout the owners say it's because the contracts are out of control and that they need to do something to stem the tide. Does it ever stop the crazy contracts? Nope. The owners can say whatever they want, but they always overspend.
The contracts given out each off-season have zero effect on the money players get as a group. Players are guaranteed an exact dollar amount regardless of every teams payroll being $10 million or $100 million.

I read your post three or four times and maybe it's because I'm tired, but I am confused

After rereading your post im still not sure what your getting at.
There is a garaunteed minimum every team has to have before they get fined but since there isnt a real hardcap the contracts given out that put a team over the minimum does effect the money players get as a group.

What does ORL get out of Ben Gordon for 2 years, 9 mil? This is a guy that sabotaged his previous two teams and was so full of himself when he was relevant in CHI. Makes no sense whatsoever.

Out of all the contracts doled out so far, this is my vote for most stupid

BG is a 4.5 million dollar walking trade filler

Indiana Pacers, I'm told, have tried to engage Phoenix in trade talks for Goran Dragic, but teams have found no common deal ground. Yet

Wow, that would be amazing for the Pacers, but they have no movable assets.

Report: Knicks offer Kurt Rambis four-years, $4.8 million to be Derek Fisher’s lead assistant

I think it's more likely they land Bledsoe.

That's the sense I get. He's been mentioned as a s&t candidate since FA began.

Whispers are already out there, @ZachLowe_NBA, about Indy trying to pull in Boston to construct some sort of multi-team deal involving Rondo
