I get being pissed that way, I just don't get the people who get pissed becasue they perceive it to be a failure on behalf of the GM.

Because they think the GM should be able to do everything their little fantasy brains think is possible. And if they didn't, then it must have been the GMs fault that an extra $30 million didn't fall out of Paul Allens ass...

There's a hiearchy of blame people put on the blazers. But it's never that it was unattainable in the first place. Can't admit when they were unealistic.

This will make @Patty_Mills shoulder feel better. He and the Spurs have agreed to a 3-year contract. #Spurs

I am not sure Gasol will help OKC. He is an excellent complimentary player who passes the ball very well. But doesn't he have to get the ball first before he can pass it? As much as Kobe dominated the ball he still made sure he fed Pau. Not sure he will get many passes from KD or F. Westbrook.

Also OKC runs very well as a team. Pau does not move as well as he did. He would fit better with Chicago IMO

He went to war for Pops and he knows that. Patty Mills has a good thing going with the Spurs.

LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh Not On Same Page -- http://bit.ly/1lUtJXj

Wade and bosh opting out was a mistake, IMO. They were still getting good money.

Lbj is 100% understandable because he's the Jordan of this new era. Wade is on the back end of his career and bosh just isn't the PF that he used to be.

There is supposedly a respectable market for Bosh. Wade is a shell of himself.

I was convinced that Wade opted out because Lebron was coming back to Miami. The plot thickens . . .

I think Bosh can get a contract for 40+ mil . . . it is Wade that will have trouble getting that kind of money, IMO.

Honestly, I don't think we're getting Hawes.

Under the scenario I modeled in this piece, up to $289 million available on open market after most big FAs sign http://www.basketballinsiders.com/enormous-contracts-are-the-nbas-new-reality/

Someone is going to grossly overpay him. I think that's the reason why he hasn't committed to us.

Hawes said he is not in a hurry to decide. And really given his game and not a big endorsement type guy, logically he should go for the biggest contract. This will likely be his biggest contract of his career. I'm hoping for a sign and trade as long as Blazers don't feel the need to outbid another team and pay some ridiculous contract (although I don't know what is ridiculous contract these days)

When Carmelo re-signs with the Knicks does he have to reimburse the Bulls, Rockets, Mavs and Lakers for the free meals?

I think he's worth 8 million a year. I'm worried some dumbass team will give him 12 million a year.

Just move on and talk to Frye. We could probably get him for the mle.

Maybe Wade will get left out in the cold and we could scoop him up with the MLE...

lol.

Getting word now that the Mavericks' meeting with Carmelo Anthony in Dallas has ended after two-plus hours ... after six hours in Houston

Sorry Mark. Time to blow it up.

In Dallas defense they don't have Howard or Hardin to immedialty take Carmelo to 15 different strip clubs, all the Dallas player reps needed there daily nap before extra curricular activities

It's no Portland, but there are definitely a lot of strip clubs here in Houston

@WojYahooNBA: Kyle Lowry has agreed to a 4 year, $48M contract to stay with Toronto, sources tell Yahoo.

Not a bad deal but I figured he would get more if he waited it out a bit.

I'm surprised, people thought he should have been an all star. I could see him getting 4/14
