Not sure where you got that from? @Everything Beagle stated 1 in 5 women were raped. You then posted 1 in 5 women were sexually assaulted. I'm not sure if either figure is correct, but there is clearly a difference.

First, i am in no way saying one is better than the other or condoning any type pf sexual assault, but to say all sexual assaults are rape is actually wrong. Sexual assault can be verbal. No physical attempted rape.

And this right here is the foundation of the issue many people have. Facts don't matter. Lets just say this is that and that is this so we can look good and others can look bad, without any details of the actual facts.

Our intuition is the one thing that is naturally innate within us that unfortunately, most women when taught to “be nice” learn to ignore or put aside their life saving abilities to save themselves from being violated. Normalizing these kind of discussions reinforce that women have the right to live free of other people’s actions that can traumatize them. No woman deserves to be assaulted. Violence and violations are always the fault of the assailant!”
