If you owned a team with the league's highest payroll, a sub-.500 record, and an obvious lack of pride, energy, and talent.....why wouldn't you consider selling them?

If owners are making money they probably don’t think about pride, loyalty or rosters that much.
Even if attendance falls they stand to make a ton of money from TV contracts.
