In no order

Brees, Rodgers, newton, rg3, Ryan, Stafford, luck, Wilson, kaepernick, manning, Romo

Since Vick is your guy, at least two people in your league have a guy above as a backup. Target one of them to pair with vick

As a Skins' fan, I have a strict "No C*wboy" rule. As a result, I passed on Romo three times, taking lesser quarterbacks. So, you think trading is my best bet? I think so, too. There just isn't anyone sitting available who I think has breakout potential this year.

I had a frustrating draft on Monday. Ten-team league, custom point structure. I had a player targeted each round and it seemed that my player was taken right before my pick. Here's my team, so slam away!

QB: Michael Vick, Josh Freeman, Jay Cutler (play one)
RB: Arian Foster, Trent Richardson, Maurice Jones-Drew (play two)
WR: AJ Green, Vincent Jackson, Danny Amendola, Lance Moore (play two)
TE: Vernon Davis, Jared Cook (play one)
D: Patriots, Rams (play one)
K: Phil Dawson (play one)

Any idea on improving my QB situation? I was thinking about picking up Pryor. I drafted Rivers, but then thought better of it, so I dropped him for Freeman. I think MJD has some trade value, as does either Jackson or Amendola. I had also drafted Ronnie Hillman, but dumped him for Jared Cook, who I think could be a sleeper. Besides, I have worries about Davis.

Sorry, but do you play with grade schoolers? How does one get Arian Foster, Trent Richardson, AJ Green, MJGD, VJAX with the first 5 picks in a 10 team league?

Might be a qb league. In some leagues qbs are by far the most valuable

QBs are by far the most valuable in our league.

If so, why do you have Vick and Freeman as your main starters. Vick will be hurt half way into the season and freeman is okay.

Hence my frustration with the draft. Every time I had a player I was targeting, that player was taken a pick or two ahead of me. You have to stick with drafting players that will provide maximum value. I'm solid at RB and WR. Perhaps I have enough to trade for a QB. I just wanted to see if anyone was high on a QB who had been flying under the radar. Last year, I took Peyton Manning pretty cheaply because I had seen how effective he was in preseason. I also picked up RGIII in a later round for the same reason.

My hope is that Vick will get some serious points before he's out for the season and by then I can figure out with whom to replace him.

Just finished my other draft. 10 team 0.5 ppr. Keepers were jimmy graham, Reggie bush and Chris Johnson

Qb: Russell Wilson
Rb: Chris Johnson, David Wilson, Reggie bush, leveon bell, Christine Michael
Wr: victor Cruz, mike Wallace, Steve smith, kenbrell thompkins, lance Moore
Te: jimmy graham, Zach sudfeld
D: patriots
K: randy bullock

Ir: Percy harvin

Here is my money league roster that I just drafted earlier today...a little weak at WR, but the rest I am feeling pretty good about!

QB Matt Ryan, Atl
RB Ray Rice, Bal
RB Matt Forte, Chi
WR Torrey Smith, Bal
WR Antonio Brown, Pit
TE Antonio Gates, SD
FLEX Eddie Lacy, GB
D/ST Bengals
K Randy Bullock, Hou

Bench Sidney Rice, Sea

Bench Carson Palmer, Ari

...and now I need to make a decision for my super FLEX position (WR / RB / TE)!

FLEX sit-or-start:
Eddie Lacy vs the 49ers?
Jordan Cameron vs the Dolphins?
Mark Ingram vs the Falcons?
Sidney Rice vs the Panthers?
Ryan Broyles vs the Vikings?

I'd go with Cameron. 49ers run D is good and GB goes with a stable of backs, Pierre Thomas and Sproles SHOULD get the majority of the touches out of the backfield for the Saints, Rice really isn't a big numbers guy by any means, and Broyles is a ? right now.

...that's how I had it set originally, thanks for the reassuring feedback!

Pick two of three:

Arian Foster
Trent Richardson
Maurice Jones-Drew

Those are some damn good running backs to choose from i'd go with
Foster: The is a lot of rumors of a split workload for week one and part of the season but he will get the goal line work still and thats what matters with Foster
MJD: MJD is back to to 2011 form and the Jaguars suck at anything having to do with throwing the ball. I expect MJD to get 25 carries at least.

I feel bad for anyone, who like me, had to play Manning last night. I played vs him in all three of my leagues and the lowest point total he put up was 47, going to start out 0-3 this year lol.

Yeah, Manning put up 64 pts. in my league. Thankfully, I didn't play him.

Pick two of three:

Arian Foster
Trent Richardson
Maurice Jones-Drew

Foster and MJD are a solid bet...the Dolphins run D was surprisingly good last year and for the Browns, Norv Turner is at the helm so you can expect many pass attempts in the red zone.

...I forgot to add my defense dilemma -- which team is the best option to start at D/ST:

Bengals vs Bears?
Bucs vs Jets?

Pick two of three:

Arian Foster
Trent Richardson
Maurice Jones-Drew

Here is my list maxiep . . . Use Trent!

1 Adrian Peterson MIN at DET 16.8
2 Jamaal Charles KC at JAX 16.2
3 LeSean McCoy PHI at WAS 14.7
4 Doug Martin TB at NYJ 14.4
5 Trent Richardson CLE vs MIA 14.1
6 C.J. Spiller BUF vs NE 14.0
7 Marshawn Lynch SEA at CAR 13.9
8 Alfred Morris WAS vs PHI 13.8
9 David Wilson NYG at DAL 13.6
10 Arian Foster HOU at SD 13.3
11 Steven Jackson ATL at NO 13.2
12 Ray Rice BAL at DEN 16 13.1
13 Stevan Ridley NE at BUF 13.1
14 Maurice Jones-Drew JAX vs KC 12.9
15 Matt Forte 12.8

Romo or Russell Wilson this week?

Pretty close, I give edge to Romo. Here is a write up of the two:

Romo
vs New York Giants (Good matchup) - NFC East divisional games are always hard-fought affairs, and the Giants/Cowboys rivalry is no exception to this general statement. This time around, the Cowboys will enjoy home field advantage, and Tony Romo comes into the contest with all his main targets healthy and ready to play - Dez Bryant, Miles Austin and Jason Witten are set for prime-time on Sunday Night Football. In the third preseason game, Romo tore up the Bengals for 13/18 yielding 137 yards passing, two TDs an zero interceptions, hitting both Austin (six for 4/59/1 receiving, led the team) and Bryant (seven for 6/54/1) for TD passes on the way to a 24-18 win. The Cowboys' attack is in fine form as regular season kicks off.
The Giants' pass D was ranked 28th in the NFL last year, averaging 254.2 net passing yards allowed per game, with 26 passing TDs offset by 21 interceptions (tied for third in the NFL) and 33 sacks (22nd in the league). They've lost their top safety, Stevie Brown, to IR already and S Tyler Sash is also on IR. During the third exhibition game, the Jets' rookie starter Geno Smith managed 16/30 for 199 yards passing, one TD and three interceptions vs. the Giants, and they gave up a total of 27/46 for 381 yards, two TDs and three interceptions during the game. Obviously, the Giants still have work to do in this phase of the game.

Romo has all his weapons for this divisional showdown, and the Giants' pass D isn't among the league's best. Advantage, Dallas.

* * *
Wilson
at Carolina Panthers (Neutral matchup) - Russell Wilson fizzled in the third preseason game vs. Green Bay, throwing 11/17 for 126 yards passing, zero TDs and two interceptions, while taking three sacks for -27 yards. He's going to be operating without top wide receiver Percy Harvin for much if not all of this year, and Sidney Rice has spent time during training camp getting exotic European treatments on his balky knee, leaving Golden Tate (45/688/7 receiving last year in his third NFL season) as the presumptive #1 wide receiver in the stable. TE Zach Miller is returning from a foot injury - aside from Tate, there aren't a lot of truly 100% healthy options for Wilson entering regular season. We'll see how effective this lineup can be starting this week. Footballguys.com's David Dodds has Wilson as the 13th-best fantasy quarterback for week one - just on the cusp of starting fantasy QB territory.
The Panthers' pass D was very disruptive against Baltimore in the third preseason game, generating three interceptions of which two were returned for TDs (there was also a fumble returned for a score during the game) - Joe Flacco was limited to 18/24 for 169 yards, one TD and two interceptions while the starters were on the field. Last year, the Panthers were a mediocre pass D averaging 223 net passing yards allowed per game (13th in the NFL), with 11 interceptions and 39 sacks generated (tied for 23rd and ninth in the NFL, respectively). This unit has started off 2013 playing well.

Wilson has a limited cast of characters around him entering regular season, and has to start the season on the road. On balance, this looks like a neutral matchup with neither squad holding an edge over the other.

Thanks ToB -- I will start Romo. Looks like the NYG Defense is pretty banged up. I also have DeMarco Murray so hopefully he throws some TD's his way.

I tried to trade Romo after the draft, but the trade was rejected (Romo/Steven Ridley for Bradford/Trent Richardson). The guy only has Cutler/Bradford and is stacked everywhere else. I kind of think I am going to be swapping these QBs week to week.
