Trade Idea Favale: Blazers Should Trade Meyers Leonard, Noah Vonleh to Bulls for Nikola Mirotic

Am I crazy about this trade? No not really, but on the other hand I don't think Vonleh is in Olshey's long-term plans and I know he wants to unload Meyers' albatross contract. Mirotic is on a shorter deal, he definitely needs a change of scenery and he's not untalented.

I dunno, I'd go for it, if the Blazers don't have to part with a 1st round pick.
I don't think Biebs contract is an albatross, anymore. ET, more so.

I agree. This trade is way lopsided.
You have a first and second round pick, Layman and Meyers.
For Mirotic and Holiday who the Blazers would probably waive hoping someone picks him up for cap relief. Very one sided and the Bulls simply are in a huge bind. They have to get rid of him because he isn't working out there.

The Bulls need to fluff up a trade...we're not desperate and they have the problem in the locker room....I don't want either of those guys for anybody mentioned...Meyers has played better and if he does that again...rebounds...he'll build some trade value and bring in a better player at the deadline..some teams are going to want to change directions mid season and 3 pt shooting bigs are marketable...a true scoring 6th man coming off the bench would be a good Meyers trade

Put another way, Bleacherreport, lol.

Bleacher Report. LOL

That Bleacher Report is sure some little tiny operation!

The owner of Bleacher Report also owns Cartoon Network! Figures!

(I omitted that Turner Broadcasting System also owns NBA.com, CNN, operates NBA TV for the NBA, etc.)

(Up the ladder, Turner's owner, Time Warner, owns Warner Bros., HBO, the Comedy Channel, etc.)
