<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Swish15:</div><div class="quote_post">Is anyone else here like me and you have a really fast metabolism so you don't gain any weight no matter what you eat? Sometimes I drink those weight gainer shakes or protein bars so I can put on some pounds. I could live off of fast food and you wouldn't be able to tell by my waist line (although my health would be really bad). I love this and it is probably one of the big reasons I'm going to be eating a lot of fast food in college and once I get my license.</div>
Trust me, once you get into college and reach 20, your metabolism won't be able to keep up with you. I was rail thin in high school but ended up packing on pounds when I got into college.
btw if you're thinking of gaining weight do not, I repeat, do not buy weight gainer shakes. It's mostly comprised of sugar, which of course will cause you to gain weight, but at the expense of your overall health. Just eat a lot of unprocessed, healthy foods that are high in calories such as nuts, fresh and dry fruits, whole grain products, meat, eggs, etc. And don't get caught up in the whole protein bar craze too. It'll just end up costing you way more money than you should. Just buy whey powder for shakes and only drink it as a supplement, whenever you're not getting enough protein in your diet (assuming you're maintaining a steady workout routine too).
