Guilty of a process crime of lying to an FBI agent, while new evidence proves they were trying to entrap him for crimes they aren’t even investigating him for? Yeah, that’s a good response.
 
Apparently Flynn got to be a general with no knowledge of basic defense when under attack....Flynn painted himself in a corner with his own guilt and paranoia....anybody who thinks the FBI doesn't fuck with people doesn't know shit about the FBI....Hoover says hello!

You can't trap someone for crimes they did commit. It's like trumps lawyers telling him not to testify in his impeachment hearing because it's a perjury trap. You can't be trapped for perjury if you tell the truth which is the oath someone takes before they testify.

the stupid part of the entrapment argument is the notion that a person who holds and MBA, and two MA's, was a graduate of the Army Command School and the Naval War College, and became a Lieutenant General in the Army, then the National Security Adviser, was ignorant of the fact that lying to the FBI in a sworn deposition was a crime

Nominating a promotion to Lt. General is not as bad as appointing him your National Security Advisor after being warned by his previous boss not to do so. It seems Obama learned from his experience but Trump did not.

I wonder how many other people have no idea that lying to an official FBI investigation is illegal. Apparently, it's pretty common in the Trump Administration. By the way, who's the ultimate boss of that Administration?

Obama took Flynn out of his Administration because he was vocal against the President. Weird how you think that’s accepted with Obama, yet you applaud when Admins from Trump to speak out.

When the FBI agent actually said he didn’t believe he lied, yet the head investigator still followed through. I’m highly certain Flynn is an honorable man that had his life ruined from snowflake elite police and deep state. They can all go fuck themselves because they abused their power. I hope they go to prison.

You seem to be arguing that anyone not convicted of a crime (and, in this case, even someone who was) is an honorable man. Seems like a low bar.

I notice that you didn't address the substance of my question, either. We can go around on this all day, I guess.

Why does that have any precedent to the fact the FBI entrapped Flynn? They didn’t even try charging him with the weak “Logan Act” crime that the left always tries to toss.

You have to look at the type of Flynn criticism compared with firing someone for saying something really minor or extremely salient.

There were ex-Trump Administration that said way worse and were praised by the left.

Flynn was fired because he wanted to take a tougher stance on Islamic Terrorism.

There's two issues here Mags. One is whether the FBI entrapped Flynn somehow, were mean to him, made him cry, or whatever.
I'm leaving you to discuss that, as I'm not much invested in it. If they did something bad, hang 'em. If they didn't, that's fine too.

The second issue is that Flynn actually did something bad prior to the FBI visiting him for the first time. You don't seem to want to address that issue, but you are claiming that Flynn was a honorable man... it seems clear from the evidence he was not.

The second issue wasn’t something bad or he would have been charged for it. Mueller wanted a scalp. He didn’t proceed with that supposed crime because it wouldn’t stick. Just a moot point.

Worse than that, Mueller wanted to be 100% certain of a conviction not 99% certain.
