Zombie FBI Press Conference on Hillary Clinton

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

She's guilty and everyone but you and her other sycophants will admit it. She's also a serial liar.

She is guilty of a crime, and she is a serial liar. I don't have any problem admitting those things.

However, the crime is not one that people get prosecuted for. So, it might be a wee bit less serious than murder.

And apparently she didn't lie to the FBI (or she fooled them) since lying to the FBI would have been prosecuted. She did lie to the public, however.

She has issues with trust and transparency, no doubt. But Trump has issues with pretty much everything. So it isn't hard for me to say I'm voting for Hillary. Life is full of situations where you decide between two non-optimal paths. "If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice"

Lying to the public IS lying to the FBI. Nixon was to be impeached for the things he lied about in his presidential speeches (re: Watergate).

Issues with "transparency" isn't the concern - it's that she cannot be trusted with top secret government information or to carry out and obey the laws.

You keep whining about Trump University. Not sure a crime was committed there, even if people were not satisfied. It's not being tried in a criminal court, nor has it been suggested that it should. Trump is being sued in a civil case, like the one where Paula Jones sued Bill Clinton (and he lied then, too).

It's pretty damn simple, she was the Secretary of State, if she only used her private server for email then she received classified emails. There is no way to do that job without classified information. To claim anything else is silly.

I think you make a logical error there. There is no way to do the job without classified information, but there is a way to do the job without classified information in email. Secretaries of State did it for a couple hundred years that way.

The relatively small number of her emails that were classified in fact supports her assertion that she preferred not to do business on email - which isn't that surprising given her age.

But, that relatively small number was not zero as she asserted.

Aren't we talking about 30,000+ emails? This hardly sounds like an old person who doesn't like to use those new computer things.

It doesn't matter what past Secs of State did, some of them had important messages delivered by pony express and telegraph. A big part of her job is to have the most accurate information delivered to her as quickly as possible. For many things email is the best tool for that.

And out of 30,000+ emails, only 110 emails had classified information in them? I'd say that suggests that either she attempted to keep classified information out of her email, or the state department has a lot less secrets than I imagined.

That was kind of my point.

Sure. If you want to complain that she wasn't using email for classified information as much as she should have been, that's reasonable.

Not correct, and not correct. Two for two so far!

Civil cases plural. Including one filed by the State of New York. But if you want to excuse fraud, you go right ahead.

I don't expect this to change anyone's mind about Clinton (as it didn't change mine), but it's interesting for those who'd like to know what, exactly, the secret and top secret material in those e-mails was.

caveat from your friendly military member to anyone in a similar situation to me:

US Marine Corps ALCON memo said:
“By willingly accessing the WIKILEAKS website for the purpose of viewing the posted classified material - these actions constitute the unauthorized processing, disclosure, viewing, and downloading of classified information onto an UNAUTHORIZED computer system not approved to store classified information, meaning they have WILLINGLY committed a SECURITY VIOLATION.”

“Not only are these actions illegal, but they provide the justification for local security officials to immediately remove, suspend ‘FOR CAUSE’ all security clearances and accesses. Commanders may press for Article 15 or 32 charges, and USMC personnel could face a financial hardship as civilian and contractor personnel will be placed on ‘Administrative Leave’ pending the outcome of the [criminal] investigation,”
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2010/aug/6/pentagon-bars-staff-from-visiting-wikileaks-site/

No offense intended to Minstrel or anyone else, but if you're in the military (or, I'd imagine, other gov't service) you don't get to look.

There were thousands of emails with secret information in them.

110 of them were marked as such, proving the liar did lie about not sending any emails marked secret.

Thousands more were determined by the State Department to have been secret. Again, proving the liar lied about not sending any secret material at all. Coney flat out said she of all people was supposed to know even if unmarked.

She lied about turning over all her work related emails under oath before the Benghazi committee. Coney said the FBI found thousands of work related emails among those not turned over.

She lied about having permission to have a private server for her business emails.

She lied to everyone time and time again. The FBI is part of everyone, whether you want to wrongly want to dispute it. It kinda makes you look desperate... Actually not "kinda."

She lied about not being subject of a criminal investigation.

And she lied about Benghazi for days and weeks afterward, claiming it was all about an Internet video. The guy who made the video was made the fall guy and prosecuted. She is a threat to the Truth and free speech.

Why are you working so hard to defend the undefendable? Just stick with, "she's still better than Trump."

I thought that was what I was saying.

Politicians are liars. They get away with it because the public is quick to forget yesterdays news. Nearly every politician throws out some mealy-mouthed answer or avoids answering out right. It all becomes second nature to these fucks.

Honest people can all agree that Hillary, like all politicians, lie and bend the truth regularly. Sadly, Trump is even worse than her as a potential president so we are stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I put it to the republicans out there again. Trump the best you got? Because you guys can't field a better alternative, the fucking country loses and thus WE ALL lose.

If we were voting just based on trustworthiness, I'd go with Gary Johnson, as he is clearly more honest than Hillary or Trump. However, the majority of what I will vote for is policy, and I wholeheartedly disagree with the Libertarian platform. So I will vote for Hillary most likely, with a slight chance of political abstinence. Trump is equally, if not more dishonest than Hillary, plus I don't like his policies. Also, I believe he is either racist and misogynistic or he is willing to act racist and misogynistic to get a lowest-common-denominator type of voter, which is disturbing to me.

Us liars and politicians can agree too.

I was pointing my finger at Hillary true believers there.

But your point is well taken.

Even liars and scum, esp. politicians, 100% of whom are liars I will add since I was clearly not clear enough that I was painting them all with a broad brush, can agree that Hillary is an out and out unrepentant liar and consummate inveigler.

Yet STILL a better presidential option than Trump. A nominee that the republicans have to be dragged and cajoled in to supporting. Which makes every other serious republican nominee look even worse that they couldn't get the nomination.

Seriously, I wonder what they say behind closed doors about their failed platform. Are they thinking about reforming it? Or are they going to quadruple down on their failed methods? FFS give the people a reasonable option over the democrats!

Of course Trump isn't the best the Republicans have, anymore than Hillary is the best the Democrats have. Trump is the beneficiary of right wing outrage over Obama's policies on a myriad of subjects. Trump played on those hot buttons like a gigolo fingering the g-spot on a 70 year old woman. Dumbasses were so busy feeling the love that they didn't stop to consider that gigolos aren't exactly quality material for long term relationships.

Well said.
