My understanding is the 87,000 hires is over a decade..... might be just a lot of replacing folks that are retiring and getting back up to levels before their hiring freezes over the last decade of being defunded.

It is so funny watching Republicans kick and scream about it and try to use it politically.

I know republican or democrat, but it does bug me when big gov hires that many IRS agents.

Even if it is just getting them back to pre-defunding levels? I mean, I posted that they anticipate 55k positions will be people retiring. So i'm not convinced they are actually hiring 87,000 new positions over the next decade. That seems like a GOP scare tactic.

Some of the IRS agent positions bring back a return on investment.

Well the IRS did take down Al Capone...they are pretty efficient at jailing mob leaders and Trump falls smack into that category.

Money for that could be better spent and I realize that they will be charged with going after low lying fruit and big dogs.
Other ways of going after big money for uncle sam.

Eric Trump is having a sad because, you know, "they" didn't investigate Benghazi. Investigation of Benghazi took up more time than investigations of bombing Pearl Harbor, 9/11 attacks, and Kennedy assassination.

Hillary Clinton testified in public under oath for 11 hours. Think any Trump will do that?

What gets me is that Trump's take is all self-pity..."Why's everybody always picking on me?"...instead of ,,,"How is it that I'm the only guy out of 46 Presidents who screwed things up so badly as to get raided by the FBI?"
