Feds Want No Cellphone or Texting In Vehicles

Yup. Just like seat belts.

Both while driving and on my bike I've seen a lot of bad drivers but a disproportionate amount is from people using their cell phones to talk and text. All the data shows the same thing

Hang up and drive... respect the lives of the rest of us

Speaking of bikes.... I see a lot of people riding bikes that don't follow the rules of the road!

I personally think texting while driving is very scary and penalties should be increased.

Kids these days (and some adults) have no idea how fast they are traveling and looking down for a few seconds to text while driving has lead to many deaths. I think people drive terrible while they are talking and holding a phone, but there are some pretty scary stories of young promising kids dying because they were texting while driving. I understand the temptation as I have often wanted to do quick response while driving, but I hope to see increased enforcement and penalties for this.

Why aren't the Feds talking about how dangerous it is to swat a mosquito off your face while you drive? A study says that this causes 10,000 deaths per year. Don't the Feds live on the South like most Americans? A nice long prison sentence will put an end to this behavior.

Obama is hiding this from American taxpayers, who are eager to pay for longer prison sentences.
