Edit: I don't know who this guy is or what he stands for, but when he stepped in front of the mic to deliver this statement he involved himself in the situation. Indifference is a choice which can be just as harmful. To do anything but come out and express disappointment in the situation is an injustice yourself, and humanity.

The verdict may have been justified....but what is stirring the anger is the knowledge that the facts didn't matter. The law does not hold cops accountable for excessive force against civilians.

People would be more willing to give the grand jury the benefit of the doubt if they weren't convinced the verdict was preordained.
