Greece Serbia Live!
Smart hasn't played yet, so if he isn't healed and ready to go he would be the obvious choice. If not him, one of the three bigs? They gotta make one cut. Who's getting axed?
Kemba / White
Mitchell / Smart / Harris
Middleton / Barnes / Brown
Tatum / Kuzma
Lopez / Turner / Plums

Good news:God we cannot shoot to save our lives. Sloukas injury is terrible for Greece. Bogdanovic is a killer. Typical Serbian.
That is one low bar, especially for a 30 yr old.Gotta say, I liked what little I was able to see in the highlights from that Chris Goulding cat. Seems like he's got a little Steve Blake in him.
Just saying he appears to play with fire. Per his wiki, he's apparently one of the best players in the NBL. Multiple-time scoring leader, first team, etc. Not saying he's NBA-caliber, but not saying he isn't either. That is one low bar, especially for a 30 yr old.
Style wise I’d say he’s more similar to JJ Redick. A shooter running round screens, although he’s probably slightly better at generating his own shot.Gotta say, I liked what little I was able to see in the highlights from that Chris Goulding cat. Seems like he's got a little Steve Blake in him.
"It's a game of mistakes," said Gregg Popovich. The team that wins makes the least errors, or so it should be.
Australia outscored Team USA in fast-break points. They got to the line a staggering 21 times, shooting 12 more free throws than their opponent. They still lost.
In some ways, it was almost poetic that a Popovich team would rain midrange death on an opponent on its way to victory. Team USA took the shots the Boomers have been all too willing to yield -- whether through schematics or necessity because of available personnel -- hitting midrange shots with open glee, on their way to a 102-86 victory on Thursday.
Of particular note, Team USA destroyed the Boomers on the boards. The Americans had 30-21 rebounding edge at half-time, and increased that margin to 41-27 the end of the third quarter. They ended up annihilating the Boomers, 54-36, which included 16 second-chance points.
"Playing him here, he's a real pain in the a--. He is," Popovich said. "He moves, he cuts, he's smart, he's tough. Yeah, he's a pain in the a--."
When the buzzer sounded to end the game, both Mills and Popovich could be seen embracing on the sideline.
"I just tried to intimidate him," Popovich joked. "I told him if you want a contract, let's talk. Let's make a deal here because you're not going to play like that against us."
Mills was also asked what was said during their conversation and he came up with a different story.
"He told me I sucked," Mills said. "[He said] you should never shoot those shots in San Antonio or I'll put you on a plane back to Australia."

I have no sympathy for anyone complaining about the view. It was obvious that the viewing was going to be terrible. The crowd also made a very poor effort of cheering Australia on. I’ve heard more noise at that stadium from a 20,000 football crowd.Playing in that stadium must have been terrible. There is a reason basketball stadiums are not that big. I also saw some pics of the view of 300$ tickets, there was no view actually.

Because it’s an Australian Football stadium. The ground is oval shaped, and 159.5 metres long by 128.8 metres wide. The first two sections were always going to be either at the same level as the court or lower. And the raised sections further back were always going to be too far away to see properly. People knew the dimensions of the stadium before they bought tickets, so it was obvious that viewing was going to be poor. It’s like buying tickets to watch the Suns, then complaining that they suck. Why it was obvious? I cannot imagine they informed people they wouldn't be able to watch the players even from VIP seats. As for cheering if i was not able to watch the game least of my worries would be cheering for the team.
How is this ok?
What i don't get is why this crap? They needed the money so badly?
