The law says that no amount of verbal abuse justifies physical action. So the young guy could shoot his mouth off forever. The woman and the old guy who both hit him broke the law, and the young guy didn't.
Charles Dickens wrote, "The law is an ass, Sir, the law is an ass."
That guy is probably named Joey. He's about as New Yorker as they come.
Joey Tribbiani?
Looked like the lady deserved a return slap there. She hit him hard. In his place, I'd have decked the bitch.
Got out-debated so resorted to violence. Then after hubby gets tossed trying to defend her honor she apparently leaves him to die slowly in an off-camera aisle.
It really seems unlikely that randomly after all that time the old guy went over and tried to choke him.. To me, the most likely scenario is that the old guy was trying to walk by to get security and the young guy mistook it for an attack.. IDK though
it's amazing to me that people can choose sides in this when we don't know what caused the argument to start in the first place.
I hate the fact that there was only outrage at the younger guy because he won the fight. If the old guy didn't want to get tossed, he shouldn't have started swinging.

Here's the aftermath:
Eventually, the US Open fight ended with all three participants being led off in handcuffs. They were not actually arrested, but they were banned from attending any tennis matches in Flushing Meadows for three years.
Although they are not in any trouble from the police, the participants are now out to hurt each other in court. The three are filing civil harassment lawsuits against each other, not long after the evidence of their US Open fight hit YouTube.
The older couple is playing a dangerous game. From what I can tell, the younger guy could file assault charges on both of them. Not very smart.
