A judge ruled in favor of a suit brought by 17 state attorneys general seeking to block Trump executive order ending all wind power projects. The projects had been previously approved, some were up and running, others under construction. Judge ruled executive order was "arbitrary and capricious" as government lawyers could not present any cogent scientific or economic justification, simply, Trump wanted it
Lead plaintiff is national heroine Letitia James, still not indicted.
No doubt Supreme Rubber Stamp will decide on emergency basis Trump will be irreparably harmed if he doesn't get his way.

Christmas eve concert at Kennedy Center for the Arts was cancelled. Artists refused to perform after Trump put his name on center.

Tennessee professor with tenure at Austin Peay University who was fired for "insensitive" remarks after Charlie Kirk was killed has been reinstated with $500,000 restitution. His offense was quoting Kirk's words that shootings were justified price to pay for Second Amendment.

Jesse Watters sent producer to ask Alexandria Ocasio-Correz, on camera, to come on his show. She reminded him last October Watters said on his program that AOC secretly wants to sleep with Stephen Miller because he's the best, but she can't. AOC, on camera, told producer Watters can be a pervert or he can ask her onto his little show. Not both.

Washington National Opera cancelled appearance at former Kennedy Center for the Arts. San Francisco Ballet still scheduled for May. Pressure growing for them to cancel.

They should not cancel! The need to move these concerts to the Duke Ellington School for the Arts. There are too many reasons to list why this should happen.

In a series of legal cases Trump has been handed loss after loss. Most involve him blocking funds allocated by Congress as retribution.
Withholding childcare and nutrition aid in five Democratic states, blocked.
Congress passed an energy assistance bill. Trump blocked funds only to states with Democratic governors. Blocked.
Trump tried to withhold funds for election infrastructure. Blocked.
Trump tried to stop wind farm in Rhode Island. He has hated wind power ever since he lost a legal case in Scotland, claiming a wind farm obstructed view from his golf course. Blocked.

Senator Mark Kelly has filed lawsuit against Pentagon trying to demote him because he exercised First Amendment right to tell military personnel they should not obey illegal orders.

Forgot to include judge restored funding to American Academy of Pediatrics, which Trump blocked because pediatricians criticized Brain Worm quackery.

If we cannot hold these people accountable then they won the Jan 6th insurrection and actually did destroy Congress and the constitution in exchange for a dictatorship. Congress has 3 years to hold them accountable or we'll start to see states break away from the federal govt altogether.

And yet fucking idiots... oh sorry, trump voters (legal name is fucking idiots) will say he still talked bad about him and his death.

“People in the plant are ready to fight”: Ford Rouge workers speak out in defense of co-worker victimized for opposing Trump

Ford workers at the sprawling Rouge Complex in Dearborn, Michigan, are speaking out in defense of Thomas “TJ” Sabula, an assembly line worker who was suspended without pay after denouncing President Donald Trump during the president’s visit to the plant on Tuesday.

As Trump toured the factory floor, Sabula shouted denunciations at the president, including calling him a “pedophile protector,” a reference to Trump’s long-established association with Jeffrey Epstein and efforts by the political establishment to bury the full truth about Epstein’s connections.

Trump responded with rage. The president shouted obscenties at Sabula and, as he walked away, raised his middle finger in the worker’s direction. The exchange was recorded on video by another Ford worker, quickly circulated on social media, and broadcast on national television.

There has been an outpouring of support for Sabula, a 40-year-old assembly-line worker and member of United Auto Workers Local 600. As of Wednesday night, two GoFundMe pages set up on his behalf have received more than $800,000 in donations from over 30,000 contributors.

After the flood of support, the UAW was forced to break its silence and issue a statement more than 24 hours after the incident claiming the union would “ensure that our member receives the full protection of all negotiated contract language safeguarding his job and his rights as a union member.”

William, a Ford Rouge worker, told the World Socialist Web Site that Sabula’s stand expressed sentiments shared widely among workers.

“TJ Sabula has stood up to Trump more than any of our elected officials. They won’t stand up. I mean both the Republican and Democratic parties. I might as well add the UAW union officials who bend over.

“I find it disgusting the way the media and the Trump administration is spinning the ICE murder of Renee Good. We are told not to believe what we see! I think the mask is coming off. I feel very strongly that a general strike is key.”

...

The suspension of TJ Sabula is not an isolated disciplinary action but a warning aimed at the entire working class. Trump’s tirade, carried out with the backing of Ford management and enforced by the UAW bureaucracy, exposes the reality of “free speech” under conditions of growing authoritarianism.

The mass response in Sabula’s defense demonstrates the depth of opposition to Trump and the political establishment and the immense social power that exists among workers. The decisive question posed by the events at the Rouge plant is how this opposition can be organized independently of the corporations, the political parties and the union bureaucracy, which functions to suppress rather than mobilize workers’ struggles.

This means building rank-and-file committees in every factory, under the direction of the International Workers Alliance of Rank-and-File Committees, to demand the reinstatement of Sabula with full back pay and the defense of the democratic and social rights of all workers.

This is interesting to me, and I know probably no one else, lol.

You do not have 1st Amendment Rights at a private business. A private business is not a traditional public forum. But does the President's appearance there and speaking to everyone make that a public forum?

Fox "news" and other right wing media on a new crusade. The biggest threat to the country is liberal white women. For years they claimed everything was to protect Fragile White Women. Black Lives Matter? No, we need more policing to protect Fragile White Women from (Black) criminals. We need mass deportation to protect Fragile White Women from being raped and murdered by dark skinned immigrant hordes. Get trans women out of sports or they will "steal" medals from Fragile White Women. In fact, trans women better not even use restrooms because they might assault Fragile White Women. It's really best if Fragile White Women leave their careers and stay home where they can be protected by Strong White Men.

As soon as we showed we weren't fragile we became the enemy.
