So far, trading 3 starters for scraps, picking up an inefficient small PF, and overpaying for Ant when only the Pistons and Magic had the $$ to offer more....and neither team was going to do that.
Not off to a great start....hope it gets better SOON.

Ilgauskas was a two-time all-star; Ben Wallace was 33 but a 4-time all-star, the last being a year before he joined Cleveland. Verajao was 2nd team all-defense
 
i just don't understand the blind trust people have in him.

i dunno why were expecting more. we hard capped ourselves for a guard, and destroyed any flexibility he touted.

the clipper deal for bledsoe's contract will end up being another waste of time. and don't talk to me about keon. he's gonna be playing more in the GLeague this year because there are no guard minutes on this dumbass roster build.

I like Barry.

I think Ainge’s resume is on point. Both in draft and trades. He can recognize talent and has the balls to make big deals.

cronin has the balls to make trades too. he gave away half our team for flexibility, but then used all of it on gary payton.

let's just agree to disagree on ainge, though. don't like the guy.

Cronin was very up front this summer that this is a multiple year fix. WTF where you expecting to magically happen today? We actually got better for the long-term, easily.

POR picked up players that are useless and got a FRP. Just not that impressed. Nurk needs to go. Ant needs to go. That would be progress. WTF would anyone want to pay Nurk all that money when his vertical is 4 inches and he refuses to play strong? The antithesis of the modern athletic big. The team still has too little size and zero bench scoring. Do you expect all of that to magically materialize in a year from now?

I don't think getting a taller SF and a second team all nba defensive player in Thybulle is getting nothing...nor a first round pick in this loaded draft. Fact is we wanted guys who got shipped elsewhere and instead of Hart walking in the off season for nothing in return...we got a younger taller player and a pick....we are a bottom of the league defense with Hart on the floor as it is...defense is an area we needed to improve in. I totally understand why Joe made fringe moves...for one thing...big moves weren't dealing with what we could offer. Big market teams cleaned up and small market teams picked the scraps...we'll see how it goes but Nurk and Ant are not being traded. This much is very clear at this point. We aren't contending this year so it's a development year for guys like Sharpe.

Dame alone is worth watching. Jody has to pay Jerami Grant off season ....I don't see any of her contracts as "cheap" or standing pat....Chauncey won't survive the summer if he misses the playoffs I'd say but this team is being built this year...no chemistry or championship expectations in my view...I'll always be a Blazer fan. Melting down over what didn't happen is a waste of time to me. Dame is beasting
 
Cronin grabbing 3rd string players and crummy picks, then will spin it as wait until big moves this summer?

The only big moves left is Lillard saying get me the hell outta here, and Jerami Grant saying see ya chumps.

But he might get you a first and 2nds. Nurk his injuries had caught up to him and did get traded he probably be backup center on good team. Majority is not dumb this probably Nurk last contract. Sharpe your still finding out how good he will be. Dame not going anywhere until he requested it. Grant he probably one your pieces going forward. Everyone else is throw in on trade. What I am saying is there really not there other teams wants.

I hope the media holds him accountable. I hope Quick grills him in the press conference. This motherfucker is just an nicer Olshey. What a fucking idiot. The best player in franchise history is in his absolute prime and this moron trades for fucking Kevin Knox
