Isnt' there a press conference today?Cronin hides from the media like a coward
The Blazers should absolutely fire Cronin because a bunch of online fans had highly unrealistic expectations about moves he coulda-shoulda made. Never mind if he has plans for bigger moves this summer and what he did before the deadline set him up for them.
Are we still hard capped?
Why does it matter after the trade deadline? It's not like the Blazers will go over the tax.
Wondering about the possibility of injuries and such.

Still hard capped, but it doesn't matter. There is no way Portland can get anywhere remotely close to the hard cap (currently sitting ~$10M below).Wondering about the possibility of injuries and such.
??? What does that have to do with the hard cap? Blazers don't have any more exceptions they can use to bring them over the hard cap, and even if there is a season ending injury why would the first thing you think about is whether we would even use that exception?

There is enough room that if Portland wanted to, they could cycle through a bunch of minimum contract guys and still be below the lux tax line.
Sure seemed very Olshey-like in the last couple of days....
Really? Olshey would have doubled down on Hart / GP2, I think.
It was a mediocre trade haul for mediocre talent going out. I will give you that, but it was a faster turn-around than what we have seen with NeO, I think.
OK, that's fair. I suspect that the guys they got were mostly for salary purposes (other than MT which they got for a specific role). They mostly got rid of under-performing assets (GP2, unfortunately) or ones that were going to walk away (Hart) for draft capital and whatever reclamation projects they could get.Seemed very dumpster divey. Busts that were former high Draft picks. Very Neil like.
SO are the #FireStottsAnybodyIsBetter and the #WeWillWin60GamesASeason….guys now the new #WhyDidntWeGetSuperStarsInExchangeForOurShitPlayersFuckCronin guys?

Dame alone is worth watching. Jody has to pay Jerami Grant off season ....I don't see any of her contracts as "cheap" or standing pat....Chauncey won't survive the summer if he misses the playoffs I'd say but this team is being built this year...no chemistry or championship expectations in my view...I'll always be a Blazer fan. Melting down over what didn't happen is a waste of time to me. Dame is beasting
