My worry is that Paul Allen was more invested than most owners and that the next owner we have will be more concerned about the ledger.

Sure but Paul isn't here anymore. I'm talking about the current group that's running things like someone who owns a vacation property and lets someone else manage it.

Understood... but Paul was the engaged owner who was overseeing the string of GM and coaching hires you have not been ok with.

Paul might have overseen their hiring, but he also wasn't afraid to dump them.

It's just nice that we're finally getting the confirmation that Terry is as bad as we have all thought he was.

I don't think you are the type to wait for media confirmation of your opinion being correct; you tend to jump to conclusions fairly quick. You might be the worst, jump to conclusions poster I've seen in my lifetime :smiley-beerchug:

From what I can remember, that opinion on Stotts in many years in the making. Doesn't seem like he really jump to a quick conclusion with that particular one. After so many years of same ole', same ole', it's not really jumping to a conclusion, it is just accepting reality.

With the talent on this roster, we are last or next to last in defense? That is on Stotts....and sadly, some on Dame.

We suck on defense. The why remains a debate.

Hopefully if we get a new coach we'll jump into the Top 10 next year, but I'm not holding my breath.

I mean... my opinion of Terry and CJ are not really new. They evolved over time. They're golden oldies.

For you, playoff winning percentage is how you ranking the quality of a coach?

Like if you were the GM, that would be the top 1-2 things you look for in picking out a coach?

And evaluate, yes.

Exactly my point... you decide first and wait for everyone else to catch up!

Got it. Fair enough.

So would Monty Williams would be out on your list of replacement coaches you'd be ok with?

You'd probably love David Blatt and Ty Lue?

If we're talking experience and the players with which they had, no. (They are 1a and 1b) because they got carried to whatever they had.

Stotts got carried and still sucks as a coach.

There's the difference.

Got it... Thats why I asked if winning percentage was really the factor you were referencing.

Aiight I feel like I’m ranting but this game was straight up lost when Melo and Kanter checked in the third. I’m so sick of this shit man. If idiots like myself can see what the issue is, why can’t the guy getting paid

Two road tests and we get destroyed in both contests. Both games filled with inconsistent effort, terrible stretches of defense (Clippers Q1, Jazz Q3), and overall gave the fans little hope that this team is going to get better.

That Utah game was as winnable as it gets -- Utah without Clarkson and coming home after going to OT the previous night in Phoenix -- and it was another blowout.

That is the thing. Have had no realistic hope in this team for a while. When they were younger, there was hope they were going to grow and get better. But they plateaued at a mediocre level....and it's tough to find hope with the current roster/scheme/coach.

Is there any reason to not just stop this bleeding? I think we still got nice roster and we still can do some damege in playoffs. We got no coach anyway, so adding the new one can only help.

should just hire vanterpool now.

Just tank the rest of the year, get rid of Stotts, Melo, CJ, Collins and Nurk in the offseason. Try again next year.
