Might be closer than I thought. Travis will hit the game winner.

It's hard to have faith in a comeback if Houston is going to continue to be allowed to hack and grab us with impunity. The difference in calls at the two ends is a joke and there's no defense for it.

Someone send out a search party and find STEVE BLAKE - his services are needed.

For all the whining about Blake.... he has only 1 turnover in the entire series and Brooks is shooting 2 of 7 from the field tonight.

Travis Outlaw = Cliff Robinson 2.0

You're jumping the gun, 2.5 games into his first playoffs. Especially since he played great D in Game 2 and scored 4 key points in the 4th quarter including a steal that pretty much put the game away.

It's sad to think that we're going to end the season like this. It would have actually felt better to just end the season on the high of blowing out all the best teams at home. Houston's scrubs are making us look like a lottery team. Seriously, their bench is abusing us right up the ass.

Halftime thoughts: Blazers played like garbage. Houston is being allowed to play very physical defense while I don't think the Blazers are being afforded the same way. Rockets scrubs can't miss from the field. That tech on Joel was absolute bullshit. Channing Frye actually played pretty well, considering. Notice no Sergio, they are going with Rudy/Roy at the point when Blake isn't in there. Outlaw is playing like garbage. If they could find a way to get Oden active offensively, he could dominate. That's all. It's only 11 points.

That pretty much sums it up.

When it's all said and done I'm kind of glad my expectations were fairly low going into this playoffs; this is definitely a learning experience for the players and more importantly it lets KP know where he stands with personnel decisions this summer. Let's face it, he can have up to 16 million in cap space if he renounces Blake, Frye, Travis, Ruffin, and Shavlik and that's a pretty decent chunk of change to play around with to get some good veteran talent to surround our six or seven keepers (Roy, LMA, Greg, Joel, Rudy, Batum, and maybe Bayless). not too mention the ability to fill some of the 10-15 roster spots with a couple of draft picks or some veteran's minimum type guys.

I'm sure some will think I'm posting this because I'm down about the team not playing so great, but I'm really not; I feel like the playoffs have pulled the curtain back from the "Great Oz" and revealed some of these tossup players for what they are.

And Blake is 1-4. He does have 4 assists, but Brooks has 3 and 3 rebounds to 0 for Blake,

Unless you win the championship, and you're in the playoffs, your season ends with a loss. You'd rather us be in the lottery?

As I predicted, Sergio is the X Factor.

Nate unwisely changed the rotation and we were -11 during the stretch Sergio would have normally played.

37 pts in a half off a wide variety of poor shot opportunities is what you get without him.

Hopefully, Nate admits his bumble and plays Sergio big in the second half.

Alright, time to make a run!! We need this. Come on guys!!

Sergio's not gonna play dude.

Hey, people, it's halftime of game 3 - you're already conceding the series? Yes, that half sucked, but we do have a history of coming back in the second half.

We could go out playing better than this. I'd like us to go out not playing like a lottery team.

Nah, it's much better to go through this so KP can get a full picture of what he needs to do in the off-season. Short-term pain for long-term gain.

We aren't out of this, but we REALLY need to start this quarter hot.

Fuck I don't believe that!
They allow all the other shit and call that?

I do not agree with Van Gundy. He says this Rocket team is VERY good, but I think they're just lucky that they got us in the playoffs. We were their best possible matchup in the first round. I think if they're playing Denver or San Antonio, they're out in the first round again.
