you need defensive man, they are good value picks right now, but last time I checked neither were defensive players

Joe Smith was an excellent pick this late.</p>

He's a good defender, can reliably hit on the pick and pop and is a leader.</p>

He's also coming off a good season. </p>

Use him carefully and he's a terrific contributor.</p>

I figured I needed a strong veteran presence at PF with Horford being the starter. Smith fits my backup PF spot perfectly.</p>

Im willing to move up in the 9th round. My 9th-12th picks and Maggete are tradeable. The rest are untouchable.

</p>I took Antoine b/c he can play spot duty at the point and backup both wing positions if a player goes down. That's what you want an 11th man on your team to do. The only weak spot defensively on my team would be the two guard, and he can help there in a pinch. There's another guy still available that I thought really hard about taking, but he doesn't do those things. And Luther Head was supposed to be the pick there, originally.

Huge thanks to GM3 and ZAE for keeping things moving while I was sorting out some personal issues. I should be back to my normal schedule now.

i just thought that he was picked a little early, and that there's 2-3 other guards i would select before him. but as an 11th man, not bad...i just figured you might be able to pick him up next round. who knows.</p>
