a player went for 30/20/10 in a game! Kareem did it back then, David Lee just did it tonight!

Thinking he is going to get a pretty nice sized contract in the off season.

Supposedly NY is interested in Camby.

LMA & Camby in a double sign and trade for Lee?

I personally would just rather keep LMA resign Camby and bring Freeland over.

NY fans are complaining about how he's a stat padder and doesn't care about wins.

If I was a NY player signed to a 1 year deal and wanted a BIG deal in the summer i'd pad my stats too.

Lee is heir to the Shareef Abdur-Rahim crown of stat king of crappy teams. The team that has his rights only signed him to a year's contract. I don't think they're kicking themselves, given their record. He's superseded Zach as the poster boy for why PER doesn't mean all that much.

Okay, I'm out of analogies. I'll stop now. But please, I'd rather have Camby alone than Lee, never mind Camby AND Aldridge.

He makes it look easy.

Not really.

IMO, he's the epitome of a rock 'em-sock 'em, bring-your-lunch-pail, blue-collar, grind-it-out, take-no-prisoners type player that I've seen in today's NBA.

beware the player in a contract year.

who plays on a shitty team and has few other options for offense.

I really really REALLY doubt that Lee could make up the stats that LaMarcus and Marcus do, let alone play the 2 different positions (at different times) that those guys can.

Together LaMarcus and Marcus average about 26 points and 18 rebounds and 2-3 blocks a game. If David Lee can do that, sure get him. Otherwise we'd be thinning our herd a bit too much.

Remember, Harvey Grant's #'s looked good too.

The Blazers certainly need plenty of that attitude to permeate throughout this roster.
IMO it's one of the teams biggest weaknesses.

Who or where it originates from is another matter though. . .??

It helped that it was against the Golden State Warriors. They play about as much defense as the Knicks do.
