Why on earth would Miami give a 1st round pick? Or do this at all? Lol.

I didn't look at it that close. you're right, doesn't make sense. Why on earth would Miami give a 1st round pick? Or do this at all? Lol.
horrible trade
You guys know you can make trades with teams other than Toronto right? I swear 50% of the proposals on this board involve the Raptors.
Merry Christmas, ya'll. Rip City!
Question(s): What would it take to get DeRozan? Would he fit? I know Dame and he are friends, maybe he would gel like Grant does? Dame, Hart, DeRozan, Grant, Nurk
Could be Ant, Little/Winslow, plus... or include Drummond and make it a different package? GP2 and Drummond off the bench? Happy holidays!![]()
Prefer Dame, Grant and Siakam as Big Three.Dame, DeRozan and Grant as a big 3? I don’t think anyone could have predicted that Grant would have such an impact as he does before coming to the Blazers.
Let's try @speeds . I want to know too.So Speeds, I value your opinion when it comes to the Raptors. What is their issue? Injuries? No center?
In your opinion what is missing and who really is available in a trade? Like many I want Siakam. Is he not fitting in with the others?
The Raptors are 29th in team 3-point shooting percentage. That's a problem. So Speeds, I value your opinion when it comes to the Raptors. What is their issue? Injuries? No center?

Zero guard depth, zero centre depth, no bench scoring. The Raptors are 29th in team 3-point shooting percentage. That's a problem.
what's the deal with barnes? people were talking about him being the next kawhi-- yet his development seems a bit stagnatedZero guard depth, zero centre depth, no bench scoring.
I assume the FO is waiting to get blown away by offers for Pascal, Siakam, and OG at the deadline.

"But if they pull the plug, are they committing themselves to a rebuild or reboot that wouldn’t fit the timeline of their best player, Siakam, who turns 29 in April? Are they over-investing in 21-year-old Scottie Barnes, who has been playing better recently, but has still raised eyebrows internally and externally for his lack of progress in his second season? It’s a big bet to make on a player who doesn’t quite look like the surefire all-star he did as his rookie year played out.
Or maybe they go all in and consider trading Siakam and Anunoby for what would likely be massive returns of picks and young talent. “A s---load” was the ballpark estimate provided by one league insider."

Prefer Dame, Grant and Siakam as Big Three.
Just doesn't have the same ring as Harrison Fucking BarnesLarry fucking Nance
We'll see, They lost again last night.Me too! I just don’t think the Raptors are going to trade Siakam.

They got beat on defensive rebounds last night 60-33. I don't know if that is a recurring problem?Zero guard depth, zero centre depth, no bench scoring.

some people believe that if we trade nurk and get another center (most of them speak about myles turner as our saviour or deandre ayton, but hes unrealistic target) or get player on another position, that we would be contenders, essentially, they believe nurk is the player thats holding us back from contending... what they dont understand is this: even if you get a player thats better than nurk or thats better fit than nurk (athletic center), other issues on this team will still be therewhat is with the obsession around here for Ayton? Yeah, he's a better C than Nurkic but he's paid twice as much as Nurk and he sure as shit isn't twice as good
We developed Nurkic. So we’re just going to trade him and develop another one?Get a young centers and develop.
I wouldn't mind a trade for Bamba still. His career advanced numbers compare favorably to Turner's, who a lot in here want to target.Get a young centers and develop.
I think a far quicker, more athletic center is worth considering. We developed Nurkic. So we’re just going to trade him and develop another one?
When he asserts himself he is brilliant. He's been asked to help facilitate (again, no guard depth) and has improved in that area. Offensively he's out to sea a little bit finding himself the fourth or fifth option on most nights. No real concerns with him, at least for me.what's the deal with barnes? people were talking about him being the next kawhi-- yet his development seems a bit stagnated
Overall not a great rebounding team especially against teams with bulk. I think we were expecting to see a lot of Precious Achiuwa at the five this season but he's been injured for most of it and our backup is a blue steak raw second rounder. They got beat on defensive rebounds last night 60-33. I don't know if that is a recurring problem?
