Really?
I’ve heard cucks say that it’s super easy to get a knife from someone without getting stabbed.
Alternative facts.

Nah, it’s super easy. Trust me bro, stay woke, sharp metal is nothing compared to human flesh.Alternative facts.
I haven't....nothin' easy about it...I recommend a jacket or towel held in both hands...sort of like dealing with a rabid dog...minimize your chance for injury and give yourself protection...you don't grab a knife with your bare hands if you have a choice...training...a little knowledge can go along way unless you pretend you're a hand to hand combat expert facing another hand to hand combat expert....wisdom comes from experience...snark away all you wantReally?

only an idiot would use human flesh to take a knife.....duhNah, it’s super easy. Trust me bro, stay woke, sharp metal is nothing compared to human flesh.
If we're going to arm people in schools, I think the better idea would be to have police on campus.
Not that they're perfect in any way (rash decisions), but I'd much rather trust a police in that situation than a teacher who is already stressed enough.
It's odd how the answer to the issue of ease of gun access/wrong people getting guns/making things unsafe in schools, seems to be just throw more guns at it. I am willing to bet that the vast majority of teachers are against the idea of teachers being the ones who are armed.

immobilizing a knife attacker and he's not running around stabbing anybody else.....last free self defense lesson for you....you can go sharpen your knives now and droolNah, super easy.
Ankle stomps will instantly disarm a knife wielder.

Oh, so I’ll just use my body parts that aren’t comprised of human flesh.only an idiot would use human flesh to take a knife.....duh
No I’d actually stab the idiot with a towel first. Then kill all the people that froze up, then kill the stragglers.River, don't question Nate.
He'd get around your jacket/towel, and stab all 30 kids in class + you in the matter of seconds.
He's that good.
Armed police would be great. It's also an additional expense. An expense I wouldn't be opposed to, but many would. Allowing teachers the option to carry wouldn't be an additional expense to the populace, because it would be voluntary. If we're going to arm people in schools, I think the better idea would be to have police on campus.

This post has some fairly serious mental health concernsNo I’d actually stab the idiot with a towel first. Then kill all the people that froze up, then kill the stragglers.

The president and conservatives are brain storming real solutions that liberals are likely to block because banning guns is their only solution and it is simply not an idea based in reality. There are too many guns in this country. You dont pay enough taxes to support a gun grab. Not to mention that pesky constitution would have to be amended. So you're saying the officer didn't provide thoughts and prayers?
No, let’s say he has a flamethrower instead.Let's run a simulation. the guy who went into this high school has a knife instead of a gun.
I'd much rather have someone break into my classroom with a knife than a gun.
Tell that to the passengers on 9/11. They did a good job at stopping knives didnt they?Let's run a simulation. the guy who went into this high school has a knife instead of a gun.

I don't think anyone believes that allowing teachers to carry is "the" answer. Most who support it consider it "a" step.
I imagine you're correct, which is why those teachers wouldn't be armed. It would only be the small minority of teachers who are in favor of the idea who would arm themselves.

First thing i learned in spontaeneous knife defense. You are going to get cut, but hopefully with training you wont get cut in a vital area. Hopefully...Really?

At least I’m not delusional about disarming killers with ankle stomps and towel tricks lol. This post has some fairly serious mental health concerns
Could throw luggage. Could go full riverman and just take the knife with one hand and not spill your chai tea in the other.Because trapped in a plane is the same thing as being in an open classroom where you can escape or throw desks/chairs at the assailant.

What stops shooters from targeting cops? Just the presence and possibility is enough to deter most. Id rather deter most than none.Btw,whats to stop a shooter from now targeting teachers if they thought/knew that they could be carrying a gun?

Mean while conservatives are offering tangible ideals that could be put in place rather quickly.
But yeah. Thought and prayers is all they offer.
