Take it to a dealership and trade it in on a new or newer car. They'll give you better value for it than if you sold it on your own.
If you have Costco use their auto buying program.

Tried to contact a dealer but they told me they won’t make any remote offers on trade ins.
When I was in the market for my new car, I was very strongly considering one of the new ones! Test drove it!!!! Beautiful vehicle!

I've always gotten the blue book value and used that to haggle with the new car dealer as a trade in.They just got back to me and told me I need a new clutch too, which isn’t covered under warranty.
I haven’t sold a car before, and this one needs $3600 to be repaired/pass DEQ next year (needs a new catalytic converter too).
Now I’m feeling like getting a new car is the best option.
Wondering how/where to sell this thing; has anyone ever sold a car that needs work done?
Is my best option to sell it to a junk car buyer?
If any of you have experience with a situation like this please let me know!
I once bought a car using Costco. If you have Costco use their auto buying program.
I’ve bought two cars through Costco and found it to be a positive and stress free experience. Even better, you can use the threat of Costco to get a better deal from a “non Costco” dealer. I did that with the last car I bought and they couldn’t give me the Costco price fast enough. It’s worth a try…..I do have Costco, don’t know about that but I’ll look into it.

I used your Costco idea on a new car for the wife. It was a better deal than the 6 dealers I went through. Cant use a fleet department anymore it seems.I’ve bought two cars through Costco and found it to be a positive and stress free experience. I didn't realize your wifey was blind. So sad.Wifey really likes the Mustang Mach-e electric car
nah, we've been retired 9 years and its pretty much get to the store and such. I want to keep it but she has a tough time getting in it as it's a low rider. lolThe wifey doesn’t drive much apparently.
I've used Costco on my last two cars. Could have probably gotten a better deal but that would have involved an immense emotional drain and a lot of work.I used your Costco idea on a new car for the wife. I put 9k on my car in the last 4 months...I only average about 5-5,500k miles driven on my car a year. That’s probably why I never have felt the need to get an EV.
