I am very sorry to see there are indeed people that would call this shame, any kind of duty.

I think we are exactly where Mr. Hamilton feared.

AH.
"A well-constituted court for the trial of impeachments is an object not more to be desired than difficult to be obtained in a government wholly elective. The subjects of its jurisdiction are those offenses which proceed from the misconduct of public men, or, in other words, from the abuse or violation of some public trust. They are of a nature which may with peculiar propriety be denominated POLITICAL, as they relate chiefly to injuries done immediately to the society itself. The prosecution of them, for this reason, will seldom fail to agitate the passions of the whole community, and to divide it into parties more or less friendly or inimical to the accused. In many cases it will connect itself with the pre-existing factions, and will enlist all their animosities, partialities, influence, and interest on one side or on the other; and in such cases there will always be the greatest danger that the decision will be regulated more by the comparative strength of parties, than by the real demonstrations of innocence or guilt.

The delicacy and magnitude of a trust which so deeply concerns the political reputation and existence of every man engaged in the administration of public affairs, speak for themselves. The difficulty of placing it rightly, in a government resting entirely on the basis of periodical elections, will as readily be perceived, when it is considered that the most conspicuous characters in it will, from that circumstance, be too often the leaders or the tools of the most cunning or the most numerous faction, and on this account, can hardly be expected to possess the requisite neutrality towards those whose conduct may be the subject of scrutiny."

Trumps crime, high or not is that he won the last election.
There is no Constitutional mandate to hold impeachment inquiries. This is noise by the tools, cunning hopefuls, of the most numerous faction.

Translation; I can't/won't answer the question.

I know this question was for someone else but it did get me thinking a bit... So on one hand I think Trump has brought a lot of it on himself, on the other hand how would any of us react with constantly being under fire? Would we fire back? Would get into asking foreign countries to help us dig up dirt on people? Would we undermine our own “intelligence” agencies, would we get angry and act on it? Personally I would hope I handled that stuff much more in line with how Obama, or Bush or most of the presidents before him have, but honestly Im not totally sure how Id react to that. More importantly, Id hope to not create the environment he has or to bring that upon myself. It is interesting though...

1) he brings this on himself. His words, his actions. I’m so sick of people blaming everyone else. If you don’t say and do stupid shit literally every single day you won’t have this happening. Just be...normal and not a Fucking moron.
2) he signed up to be President of the United States. If he can’t deal with media and criticism maybe don’t ask for the most visible and criticized job on the planet

I agree with you somewhat, but look at some of the crap people spewed at Obama, Bush all the way down, some were legitimate criticisms sure, but it was still a daily thing of someone telling them how terrible they were.

Just my 2 cents, but
I imagine every individual would go with their style and preferences.

Pretty much the lame/non-committal answer I expected and likely pretty much the same kind of answer I'd expect from most Trump followers.

Sieg Heil !

lol...you had all that time to formulate a coherent answer and that's the best you could come up with?.......very compelling.

Actually, I have no ideal what you are going on about. Don't know what you need translated. I did not ask you a question.

Steve Bannon article I read today said he thinks Trump will get impeached. Gave a long list of Trumps mistakes and thinks he should've shut up and stop insulting skilled professionals who question him..thinks Trump has made way too many unnecessary enemies for egotistical reasons that lack foresight....said Trump doesn't stand a chance against Pelosi and said Pelosi is the toughest, most thorough master of negotiation in govt....all this from Sloppy Steve. Who'd have guessed?

The actions of the dems in the house, seem to be designed to simply impeach or more specifically feign impeachment when every you lose and election or don't think you can win the next.
I would hope to see the Rep fix this next time they are in the majority. That would look to be 2021, a Constitutional amendment is due, to set some logical rules and requirements for these children.

This is not just dems....there are many, many republicans involved in supporting all these inquiries ..it's the job. You're too hung up on team sports stuff Marz….this is about right or wrong, not partisan crap...the GOP is not unified concerning this...only for the purpose of a Senate majority upcoming election

The GOP is FUBAR.

and FYI, there are nearly as many Reps in the "private room" as there are Dems.

Yet you still complain and cry foul.

Just like AH warned. 65

Is Hamilton your go-to du jour...you use him as if he is your light saber or something. You are really really struggling with trying to interpret his meanings.

Here, you can chew on this too; ...now please justify if you can the Reps behavior in storming a closed door proceeding. THIRTEEN already had permission to attend, so what exactly is their problem?

No struggle.
Is this what you needed interpreted?

Nice dodge....and yes, you are struggling...but hey, I enjoy a little comic relief now and then.

Now, are you going to answer why the Reps unlawfully stormed the proceedings?...or do you need to consult Alec Hamilton again?

Now if anyone ever needed an example of someone talking out their arse.
We have it here.
