it would be nice to see a full stat line, not just points.

If you were smarter than me, you could've watched France defeat Germany live here.

Maybe they'll post the stats somewhere on that site. Apparently France built a 20 point lead but just hung on to win 89-84 (Tony Parker didn't play).

No Parker and Nic only gets 14? I wonder how much he shot.

Cat Fight!

Maybe Dragic didn't like No. 4 copping a feel after the ball swipe?

He hit 5 of 6 from three, scoring 15 of his 18 points. This proves the soft-ass over-paid pussy has no competitive drive and needs to attack the basket more. Trade him while his value is still mediocre.

Fantastic idea.

Cool! Thanks!

Whenever I watch France play, I wish we had Diaw. He's so skilled. I would totally be on board with trading Leonard for him, if only because I think it would help Batum as well. And I bet LaMarcus would love it.

Boy, Germany are so bad that Alexis Ajinca looks really good.

I just saw the link as I was going to gym this AM. Is Schroder on the German team? How did Nic look?

No. Nic looked...okay. There was a point there where the French Coach pulled him out and was trying to explain something and he looked very petulant and wouldn't make eye contact. And he still drifts a bit on O. But I imagine it'll be different against, say, Spain (although no Pau to dunk on this time).

France just played Germany (again) - I missed the livestream and I can't find any info yet. yuyuza1 - do your stuff!

...too slow! Apparently Batum got 11 points, 2 boards, 5 steals and 4 assists.

I love Google Translate:

Early in the game, Germany sets the pace and aligns behind the arc five times, forcing Vincent Collet to remind his troops (4-15, 5 '). The dead time to bear fruit. As always, Tony Parker takes things in hand and raise his team while Boris Diaw serves caviar Nando De Colo. The French inflict their opponents 8-0 (12-15, 6 '). The French defense hardens and at the end of the first quarter time, the Germans (6/10 3pt) lead 24-30.
...
After the break, Nicolas Batum (11pts, 2 rebounds, 5 steals, 4 assists) is in the oven and the mill. The winger made the show in Portland dunk and cons, igniting the Rhénus.

Here's the boxscore.

Apparently Batum wore these in the game today:

Jeez. 51-22. Not sure how Nic is doing. Doubt he plays much

France wins in a laugher. Greece should be a sterner test (tomorrow), and we get to see Kostas P. as well. (Greece destroyed Germany today.)

From what I've seen of these games (which isn't much) and from the stats, Alexis Ajinca might be worth a second look. He's become sort of the "worst case scenario" for Rudy Gobert, but he's actually mobile and he's been an efficient scorer. Of course, he's doing it against pretty short people, but still - he'd be a good training camp invite.
