LHP - C.C. Sabathia (1-1, 5.06 ERA)

VS.

LHP - Matt Moore (1-0, 2.95 ERA)

Lineups to follow............

NOTES: Luis Severino entered last nights game with the 2nd lowest run support in the majors since his arrival last August (2.84 runs per game) Last night marked the 13th time in 14 starts that the Yankees have scored 3 runs or fewer for him.

5-10, fitting record for this dime store lineup.

Tonight's starting lineup........

LF - Gardner (300)
2B - Castro (273)
RF - Beltran (296)
1B - Teixeira (170)
DH - A-Rod (156)
C - McCann (275)
3B - Headley (189)
CF - Hicks (.095)
SS - Gregorius (261)

Now they just need to drop Headley to 9th & A-roid to AT LEAST 6th.

I wonder if ANY team has worse average hitters in the 4 & 5 hole.

CC's 2 inning line so far = 2 runs, 3 hits, 2 walks on 34 pitches.

Here we f'king go again.

A-rod is toast, the man looks completely lost at the plate. And we still have another year of this.

When is someone in the Yankee Organization going to have the nads to sit the BUFF down and tell him he's got a new role to play??????????????

HOLY SHIT! A little excitement from the Yankees as Ellsbury steals home to tie it up.

I don't remember the last Yankee player to do that.

...^^^Derek Sanderson Jeter in 2001...Bernie William was at bat.

A-roid needs to be taken out the lineup.
He is pathetic at the plate. He's a
rally-killer right now. As a person he
sucks and his present play just reminds
me how horrible he looks in pinstripes.
He's old and looks it.

Yep A-hole should retire way before the '17 season, how bout tomorrow. CC should jump right in there and do the same. I'd rather see a couple of hungry 500 K hungry to prove themselves.

FINALLY! the Yankee offense has come alive. 2 run double by Ellsbury. 6-3 now.

If its any team for the Yankees to reverse fortunes against for me it's Tampa Bay. Nova and Ellsbury surprised this evening.

Yeah with Ellsbury finding his stroke yesterday getting 3 hits I couldn't understand why Joe would have started Hicks instead. Oh wait, my bad.

Saw an article on Hicks ability to make 105 MPH throws from the out field. That is all good but the man is hitting .095, bad gig. Since Sabathia had been with the Yankees he's had losing records against Boston & Tampa Bay.

reminds me of Bob Welch, when the Bums didn't score but 9 runs total, in 9 games Welch started; some of those games, the Bum's had nada on the board....(not 1 run in 9 gms., 9 runs total).....

I saw that 105 mph throw to Bulldog McCann the other day, but like ya' said, he can't hit his way out of a box....
