They say they want it to get votes, then do the absolute minimum on all fronts, while cashing in on their corporate partnerships and insider trading.

ID’s should be free and payed for with tax dollars. And after that, you should have to have one to vote. You need to be a citizen to vote here, period.
The Democrats plan of basically bribing immigrants into voting for them in exchange for living here illegally isn’t the most forthcoming either.

There is nothing preventing them from being free.

I've seen people buy new 3d printers for under $20. Though I missed out on the "sale".

I've also seen them gifted, or taken as scrap and repaired, like many other tools which could be used to make guns.

But you aren't actually making an argument in good faith, so I won't go into further detail.
