<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">NEW YORK -- Forwards Andrew Bogut of Milwaukee and Dwight Howard of Orlando led a list of 19 players selected for the Rookie Challenge in Houston as part of the All-Star weekend.

Bogut was the No. 1 draft choice in 2005 and Howard had that honor in 2004.

Joining Bogut on the rookie team for the Feb. 17 game are Luther Head of Houston; Danny Granger and Sarunas Jasikevicius of Indiana; Chris Paul of New Orleans; Channing Frye and Nate Robinson of New York; Charlie Villanueva of Toronto; and Deron Williams of Utah.

Howard will be part of a sophomore team with Emeka Okafor of Charlotte (who is injured and will not play); Luol Deng, Ben Gordon and Andres Nocioni of Chicago; Devin Harris of Dallas; T.J. Ford of Milwaukee; Nenad Krstic of New Jersey; Jameer Nelson of Orlando; and Andre Iguodala of Philadelphia.

The players were selected by NBA assistant coaches. The head coaches for the Rookie Challenge are the lead assistants from the All-Star staffs -- Sidney Lowe of Detroit (rookies) and Del Harris of Dallas (sophomores). NBA greats Elvin Hayes (rookies) and Moses Malone (sophomores) will be assistants.</div>
