Kilmar Abrego Garcia has been released from prison. Trump administration plans to immediately deport him. To Uganda. No way do they want to put him on trial
 
Kilmar Abrego Garcia offered a choice. Plead guilty to frame up charges and be deported to Costa Rica. Close to family, speaks the language. Relatively stable. He would be granted residency. Or plead not guilty and be deported to Uganda, where he has no family and doesn't speak language. Since a person with active case can't be deported, charges would be dropped, then he gets deported.

Shows how fake charges are. You don't arrange residency in another country for a felon.

Quite simple. Trump is never wrong. Neither is anyone in his administration. They can't acknowledge he was deported mistakenly so they have to fake something to fit their narrative, not a mistake, he's a dangerous criminal.
 
Trump ordered synagogues to allow ICE to enter or lose any security funds.

Look, I know how this can all sound insane to a normal person. But it’s already over and the only thing that might save us is the thing they’re preparing for now: The impending death of Donald Trump.

Trump’s eventual death coming a lot faster than they expected. They knew it would happen but they thought they had at least a year to get Project 2025 installed. Trump is showing signs of rapid decay, looking like Queen Elizabeth weeks before her death.

Trump’s death will inevitably be a flashpoint with people in the streets. It will be what sets the whole thing off, and the mechanism isn’t yet in place to quell the rebellion and militarize the entire country.

The flag burning mandate is one aspect, setting up a quick mechanism by which the feds can arrest people when Trump dies. You’ll see more vaguely non-sequiter EO’s that will mostly be ways the feds can disappear you for doing something you weren’t planning on doing anyway… but could see someone doing if Trump were to die unexpectedly.

Anyway, that’s just where my train of thought is at. I’m sure I’m just overreacting.

California state legislator introduced a bill to address problem of undocumented parents of citizen children facing deportation. The bill allows these parents to name non relatives as guardians. Many children have unofficial aunts, uncles, grandmas who are not biological relatives.

Right wing Christian pastor threw hysterical fit and is mobilizing against it. H claims falsely bill would take children away from parents, change their gender identity (of course!) and sex traffic them. At protest he organized, San Francisco Chronicle spoke to protester who said she doesn't know why I'll says but knows it's wrong because pastor said so
 
Guatemalan teen, high school honor student and track athlete, went with her mother to routine immigration check in. Both were deported without being able to notify family. All they had were clothes they were wearing. No money, no phone access. Begged Guatemalan official for one phone call; mother called her oldest daughter, who had no idea where her mother and sister were.

They are now living in one room apartment too frightened to go outside.

Feel safe?

Irish born wife of Trump supporter who has had legal permanent residency for decades is being deported due to bad check for $25 from ten years ago. She repaid the money. But DHS called it a crime of moral turpitude. Unlike 34 felony convictions.
Because the face eating leopards wouldn't eat their faces. He is getting what he voted for.
 
What do people consider “white”? Is Pau Gasol white or Spanish? I was reading something about people from Israel aren’t white, they are Jewish? Is it the color/religion/location of birth? Honest question. I have friends who don’t want to be labeled as African American. Would love opinions on this. I saw those “white” maps yesterday and was a bit confused.

Very good questions. Underscores how "race" is a social, not biological construct.

At various times, Irish, Italian, Greek, Portuguese and Jewish immigrants were not considered white. Now they mostly are but various white supremacists say Jews aren't really white. I had a friend of Portuguese descent who called himself Hispanic. The "one drop" rule mandated anyone even 1/16 black was by law black and subject to slavery. With DNA testing people are astonished to learn they aren't as white as they thought.

And every nationality and ethnicity arose from mixing of various clans and ethnic groups.
